We booked a spacious studio-style room. It had almost everything you need. But at least two plates, spoons and forks would have been useful. In other words, we missed a few simple cutlery items.

A great place for those interested in museums. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport. The interior is bright and unpretentiously elegant in style. The breakfast area is pleasantly atmospheric.

Management’s staffing choices were lopsided. The bar and breakfast always seemed to have enough staff while the front desk was often understaffed and though helpful, stressed as a result. For such a nice property, the halls and stairwells could use attention, touch up paint to walls and spot cleaning carpets as examples.

Unbeatable location with every form of transit within a block or two and major sites within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The room was extremely quiet, comfortable and had high ceilings. The staff was helpful, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. We loved it and would recommend it

If you’re on the 6th Floor, as lovely as it is, it means the one lift will take a while in the mornings to get to you. But it’s a minor thing.

It was a beautiful, modern, spotlessly clean hotel. Our room on the 6th floor was lovely. The bed was big and comfortable and lovely white sheets. The bathroom was modern and shower good. The air conditioning was good and there was everything you needed. It was a really good location for the TV tower and walks to the museum’s and The Brandenburg gate. Right by the Alwxanderplatz train station which gets you all over Berlin cheaply and easily and out to the airport in half an hour. We even went to the horse races at Hoppegarten on the train one day. Great spot to enjoy Berlin.

Nothing much it was a nice hotel in a good location so all was good.

It was a nice hotel in a good place, it was expensive but it is the capital and I would struggle to get the same in London for the same price. The location as a sightseer is excellent.

Very little , the only slight improvement would have been larger bath towels ( as they have in the Sauna ) another chair, ie 2 in the room and an exterior view . The wi fi slightly odd as you had to keep checking in. However all of these were very minor . Oh and some instructions in English as to how to use the tv !

Very friendly and helpful staff, good spacious room. Brilliant breakfast , wide range of healthy choices . Helpful and friendly welcome - in fact, all in all ,a really enjoyable stay

Location is a few minutes walk from Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz. Quiet road. Lovely bar. Ample selection at breakfast. Would stay here again.

They take pets although we would have avoided staying here if the listing had said ‘pet friendly’. My husband is allergic to dogs. The first room they gave us had a foul smell -like a dog or cat had sprayed on the curtains. Definitely an animal smell. The first night they only offered us a smaller, dark room as an alternative. We stayed in the smelly room that night but had the windows opened wide. The next day we spoke to a reception manager named George. He apologized and immediately upgraded us to a suite. On that basis alone we might stay there again. But their listing should say pet friendly.
