Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Egypt- The location also!!, the neighborhood is not suitable for families, the distance between the central station and the hotel is a little bit insecure (Drugs dealers and abusers)
- The location, near to the central station and tram station, also there are a lot of grocery shops and restaurants around. - the breakfast is relatively good and fresh, the restaurant is clean and neat. - Check-in process was fast and easy.

MongoliaThe room does not have a safe, which sadly causes concern to leave valuable belongings in the room. The area around the airport is a mess and is located near or even on the red light district.. so not a choice for guest with small kids.
The train station is super closeby, which makes it a good location for our last place to stay before departing to the airport. The breakfast is good with clean atmosphere. The room has all basics.

MongoliaThere was no fridge, which was surprising as most other hotels I've been to had one.. In general, the area is a little unwelcoming with quiet many homeless people... locals warn about the area, which makes it feel even scarier.
The breakfast was good in variety. the room was small, clean, had a cute balcony. The reception was helpful, one time the main gate was closed in the evening, which was quiet scary for a minute.

AustraliaThe location, whilst central, was among some very seedy elements. Whilst it is not the hotels fault, the amount of open in view drug use in the street was shocking. As for the hotel, the only two things I can fault is the doors were heavy to shut and therefore needed to be slammed to close. The second problem was the very intermittent wifi. It cut out so often it wasn’t really worthwhile using it. It did work well in reception, but in the 4th floor it wasn’t good.
The location was very central to the main train station. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. I could not fault them at all. All staff spoke English and German. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The darkened of the room in daylight was so great that you would think it was still night.
