Not a big negative but the location was a little walk from main town. It was easier to get out with a car though.

The beds were very comfortable. the suite was very spacious. Loved the pool and saunas.

The bathroom was large but the shower was very small and outdated.

The room is very spacious including a bed, a sofa and a balcony overlooking the view. The receptionist was very friendly and asked several times if we needed anything else. The breakfast with fixed tables and personal attention from the waiters. The meal itself was from fresh products, varied and very tasty. The location of the hotel was excellent. Fully recommend the hotel.

Bar shut at 11.00. The hotel is adults only, I suppose I would have liked it to be open a little longer as it was a weekend away without the kids!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. A fantastic spa area and lovely views across the mountains and town.

Female staff member on reception was quite rude when we arrived and we felt they were annoyed that we were not eating in the restaurant but we wanted to go out walking and see the town.

Huge room, comfy bed, good bathroom and lighting. Good view from balcony. Free parking. A few nice bars and restaurants very close by. Pool area is nice and robes provided.

I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel. It was a wonderful experience and I hope that I can come back soon!

Breakfast is included and it's absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and treat you like family. Although we didn't utilize this service, they provide you with bus passes to get around town in - which is a nice perk! They have a handful of different types of saunas which were super relaxing to go around and rotate in. The pool is clean and great to cool off in after the saunas.

The decor was perfect the views from our room where even better. The room was roomy and we had a bath which I loved. We were very pleased to have a fan in our room. The pool, sauna and relaxation areas where wonderful. It's a little confronting as an Australian to not wear swimmers in the sauna but we used our towels to feel comfortable. Highly recommended a stay here.

The bathroom was not very comfortable (the toilet is right behind the door with no space for legs) and the shower in the tub is not very practical.

Very clean Hotel in traditional style, big room with nice balcony. The staff is very professional and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, as well as the dinner at the restaurant.

The room was a great size with a balcony and an amazing view. Breakfast and dinner were amazing with a vast choice. We were also provided a Berchtesgaden guest card on arrival providing free bus travel and discount to certain locations in the vicinity. Highly recommend.

Not great pillows! Slightly out of the main town.

Large, clean, room with comfortable beds and good bathroom. Very friendly staff, good bar and good breakfast. Ideal if you have a car for transport. Free local bus travel card provided.

The reception was friendly and helpful about the amenities of the hotel and things to do in the area. We did half board and the food was good. The pool was nice at the end of the day after hiking. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious.

Beautiful hotel in Bavarian style with an excellent selection of breakfast options. Dinner was equally as good, with a good choice of meals from Bavarian specialities to International cuisine. Our room had a fantastic view over to Watzmann mountain where we could sit on the balcony and relax. The wellness area has a large swimming pool, open for a nice swim before breakfast and there are 5 sauna / steam rooms which were spotlessly clean and welcoming. The hotel is a 15 minute walk into the centre of Berchtesgaden which has a good selection of restaurants, shops and bars, including the excellent Hofbrauhaus Berchtesgaden. Finally, the hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Lack of air conditioning made the hot summers nights a little uncomfortable.

Breakfast was excellent and I would highly recommend the Half Board.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is an easy walk to the bus station and town center, and the indoor pool was a nice bonus. The staff were incredibly helpful when we had questions about local tourism and transport, and went above and beyond by offering to book boat tickets for us and explaining good walking routes.
