We truly appreciate their hospitality and kindness to make our stay comfortable and memorable in Würzburg. The owner of the hotel Nina and Wolfgang were fabulous people who were taking care of their guests so closely and helping out as much as possible they could. Their professional services were incredible and unforgettable. We were very fortunate knowing them and staying there. Also they provide a beautiful homemade breakfast which was so amazing . I would highly recommend this Hotel. Thank you again!

I have travelled around 18 countries around the world, and this hotel is one of the best hotel I stayed. The atmosphere of the hotel, the kindness of people and the wonderful breakfast satisfied my family. If I get to visit Wurzburg again, I will book this hotel again for sure.

The breakfast was exceptionally beautiful and delicious, including small dishes of fruits, meats, fish, an egg, salads, cheeses, freshly made spreads and good coffee all different in color and texture and seasoning. The presentation couldn’t be better. The hosts were extremely warm and welcoming. The recent renovations respect the prewar style of the building and preserves some beautiful decorative details, but add lots of fun modern touches. Really creates a modernized extension of home feeling, like you were visiting a Wurzburg friend’s home. .

We found this hotel sign too small as it is part of a larger hotel name. We were looking for signs the same as the other hotels on the street so we past it initially..

Lovely cosy room with lots of extras eg fresh flowers! Lovely coffee machine. Very comfy. Superb staff - they were so helpful and ensured we made the most of our stay. Lovely bowls of lindt chocolates, fresh fruit and snacks to take out with you.

We had a lovely room and great breakfast. The woman owner and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful making the stay Special. Location was perfect for the Christmas Markets and close to the train station. A charming Hotel !

This is a moderate sized, family-run hotel hosted by Wolfgang and Nina, who are truly friendly and helpful. Nina's breakfast is an artisan feast, the best meal we had in Germany.

Everything was excellent.

Nina and Wolfgang provided exceptional service for my 6 night stay. The room was spacious with many windows and blackout curtains. Bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned each day. Fresh flowers and beer/wine were stocked in the mini-fridge each day. Great location near many restaurants and across the street from the Congress Centrum - short walk to the center of the old town. I had the breakfast two days and it was prepared with great care. Highly recommend staying here.

My experience of the hotel could have only one topic, welcoming! The owners were super kind and helpful as they explained the historical importance of the city but also they were full of advices for what to see and were to dine! I definitely recommend to take the option of the breakfast as it was made by the owner with nice variety of products! I highly recommend it, it will be a memorable experience!

I would be great to be informed upfront that breakfast have to be ordered prior to arrival. Also, would appreciate double bed in the double room (not twin..).

Good small hotel in the city center, 12min walk from train station. Japanese restaurant next door was convinient for a late dinner. Minibar included, along with Espresso machine and a tea pot - a rare find all together!

Our room is clean and quiet even close to the street. The boss is very kind and helpful. We had problem for our rented car. He has been helping us to contact rental company to replace the car. We are so apprecitated and will stay this hotel next time to Wurzburg.

We liked everything.

We just enjoyed an excellent 3 night at Das v Evert. What puts this above other fine hotels is the warmth, professionalism, knowledge and dedication of Wolfgang and Nina. They made our stay special. Our room was large and comfortable and well appointed and we slept very well. (It was a plus to have a fan to use at night for ventilation and white noise. We also opened the windows at the top.) We appreciated the free water and kind gift at the end of our stay. The room and hotel were sparkling clean. Fresh fruit was available and we had beautiful fresh flowers in the room. The hotel location is very convenient and safe. We arrived on a Friday with no dinner plans, and after listing a few options, Wolfgang worked his magic and we had reservations at the wonderful Backöfele (even though they were very busy). We then reserved for Saturday at another of his recommended restaurants, Gasthaus Alte Mainmühle, and it was beautiful. This is a stay we will look back on with pleasure.

I asked for a double bed and in typical European fashion, we got two single beds and I had to sleep across the two… this is a rubbish tradition and one that should stop everywhere across Europe! The next time this happens I will personally call and if there’s no double/queen/kind bed then I simply won’t be staying there

The owner couples are super warm and attentive to provide us all the help and care during our stay. Mr. Wolfgang has deep knowledge about the history of Wurzburg that helped us to understand more of Wurzburg. Overall, this hotel has perfect location with warm touch, also the deco of the hotel is in great taste. We can’t wait to go back soon. 👍
