We had to close the window at night because of shouting and music from the rail station. We liked that the room had a mini fridge, but because it was unstaffed at night we did not have anyone to ask to borrow even a fork or knife.

The art hotel is actually a new facade on an older hotel. We kind of liked the character of the interior, it was a bit of a throwback. The bed was huge. Not staffed in the evening but check-in went fine through the lock box. Good free parking in the rear.

The check-in system is a bit odd. The key box by the door wasn't working when we (and other guests) arrived and we had to wait for quite a while standing outside for it to be sorted (there was no place to sit around). The room equipment is a little bit dated but overall it's not bad value for money.

The hotel is very well located just outside the historical centre of the town. We also appreciated its parking right in front of/behind the hotel building and a pet friendly attitude. We didn't have breakfast which we regretted in the end.

One window wouldn't close. The handyman came up and banged it into place and suggested we don't use it. Reception desk was not manned

The room was a bit dated. But overall it is very good value for money. Location is opposite the train station and a 10 minutes walk to the city center. We had a wheelchair and everything was easily accessible.

The elevator didn’t work, it was listed as having a fridge in the room which wasn’t there. The room was very hot, despite a small desk fan (which had a good amount of power), we were up and having frequent cold showers/wetting our faces to help beat the heat. In winter this wouldn’t be a problem, but in summer it was really difficult. The walls are very thin and we could hear other guests watching TV and having conversations.

We stayed in two rooms. The windows in one room did not open. In another, the refrigerator did not work. Very poor sound insulation, you can hear everything in the neighbors room.

Unable to get into the hotel when we arrived as reception was closed. Thankfully, another resident helped by calling the contact telephone number and managed to get the security code to access our room key and hotel key in the key safe at the rear of the building. Just an annoying blip really and this process hadn't been well communicated before arrival.

Our room was basic but a decent size and we had a comfortable bed! The breakfast was very good and we had freshly cooked bacon and scrambled egg as well as continental on offer. Although quite noisy when we had the window open (on a main road opposite the railway station) the room was quiet when we closed the window to sleep. Good location only minutes walk from the town centre with good restaurants and bars.

Although the outside of the building looks newly painted, the room we stayed at needs a refurbishment. The carpet was stained and furnitures are showing wear and tear. The room was pretty big though and the complimentary bottle of water on arrival was nice.

The included breakfast was the highlight of our 3nights stay. There were wide selection of cold meats, cheese, cereals, jam & bread on offer in addition to hot dishes (scrambled & boiled eggs, sausages). What a great way to start the day! The staff were friendly. Its location just a few minutes walk to the town centre is unbeatable. Free parking was great, provided you get space.
