The facility is a bit worn and tight with limited food options nearby.

The room was worn out. The toilet as well as the shower did not work correctly. The reception, as well as the breakfast room, smelled like fish. The coffee machine went regularly into an error. One coffee machine is not enough for so many guests. The TV is a joke. It has the size of a stamp. Around 22 inches.

The hotel is right next to the museum. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

The hotel itself occupies a few building, so do not bother to bring your staff for check in - you could be staying in other building. My one had no lift, so in case you have some weight to carry - should be an issue. The room was pretty spartan - just a TV + bad - no drinks, no tea, nothing. It was not so hot outside, yet the ventilator was also in the room (under the roof) so it could be hot in summer - yet it is a guess

The location is great - if you are after Technic museum it could not be any better! Also free parking is an important part of it. Staff is bit too less - it is not the size of the hotel when you have to wait 10 minutes for check out. Communication - you shall fill the form in advance - is nice and easy, also check in and breakfast was nothing to complain about. Overall - Ok place to stay for a location visit, close to Museum, Autobahn, old city and cathedral. In case you stay for a longer stay - may be a bit less.

Basic hotel in a very good location. You get what you pay for. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is surprisingly good for this price.

Friendly staff at reception. Free parking for paying guests, plenty of parking spaces available. Room is basic but clean, it served its purpose. Quiet location, close to the motorway, 10-15 walk to town centre and 5 mins to the river for a nice walk. Ideal for anyone coming to the local parkrun :-)

I was surprised that there was no kettle or tea/coffee items in the room. If there was a lift (elevator) in the main building (the one with reception), I didn't see it. I don't need a lift now, but if I come back next year, I might not be able to climb stairs.

The room was very small. We were on the top floor, had heavy luggage, and there is no lift. There was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke covered by air freshener spray in the room.

We like the museum. We appreciate the free parking. Breakfast was good. Wifi was good. Beds were comfortable.

Rooms a little too small and the the roof rooms have smaller slopped windows which make it more claustrophobic. I do understand that the original use of the building was as an officer's mess for the French Army. I did book fairly late for a very busy bank holiday.. it's okay for a single night though..

The breakfast is very good, the staff there are very helpful and attentive.I was given good information when checking in, especially about parking and reduced tickets to the museum.

A basic room with everything you would need for a few days stay. Also the Speyer Technical Museum is very close by as in a walk across a carpark also there is a great pool across the street. The Rhine river is very close by and is a good way to walk into town or take a direct route as the town is very scenic from what I saw of it.

It was very warm at the time and no air condition and with east bound windows the room temperatur was around 30 - 35 degrees.

The bathroom could be renovated a bit. For instance, the shower head was quite covered with calcar (totally understandable and common here in Germany, but I'd not expect it in a hotel), and the walls obviously need regular treatment and paint for the humidity. It was however overall fine for my stay.

The room was small and cosy, perfect for a one night stay in Speyer. Located very well, its well served by buses and within waking distance from the Dom (15-20 min). Very nice breakfast.

As with stays in previous years we were on the top floor (twin room) - with a very small room which is OK for one night but we were there for four nights. Only a skylight and the room gets hot in warm weather although a fan was provided.
