Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

There was everything you needed. The bed was super comfy and big. The pillows were great. There was complimentary slippers which came in handy. The train was 100mts away from the appartment.

KazakhstanDuring check-in, I could not get through to the number indicated at the reception; I called from a mobile phone (from a German number). I eventually managed to check in, pay and get the keys myself, following the instructions on the panel, but it was nerve-wracking that not only were there no human beings in the room, but there was no answer to the phone. Also disappointing was the lack of Netflix on TV in the room. I'm used to watching Netflix regularly, for that price it would be possible to organize this.
Excellent location, clean room, Wi-Fi works great, the room has everything you need, including an ironing board and iron and dishwasher, excellent coffee machine. When cleaning the room, the staff also washed the dishes, I was very pleased. The tea and coffee in the room were of good quality.

United KingdomCheck in process . Relying on a person in a remote location to open the door is unacceptable. You press the buzzer which isn’t well signposted and due to traffic noise cannot hear the other person. He was telling me to push the door but I was pushing the door near the buzzer which to me is logical. Turns out you need to push the door slightly to the right which you wouldn’t naturally think to do. Doesn’t help being told the door was open when it wasn’t as I was pushing the wrong one. Confirmed it wasn’t my stupidity when I witnessed someone else having the same issue. Could do with “how to “ leaflets info and info on local attractions

GreeceI really believe that there were no disadvantages. If I have to say something I would mention that there is no balcony which is very useful for a smoker. But there is a common shared balcony on each floor and an outdoor space on the ground level.
First of all, the location was really perfect. The room was clean, everything was new and very modern and minimal. I had daily cleaning service at convenient for me time. Moreover, online check-in and check out is very useful.

AMANO Home is well located in the Mitte neighborhood. There are many places for eating at any time (breakfast or dine out) and it is on walking distance of many places of interest. Very quiet, neat and comfortable. There is no staff to help and everything is online, check-in and check-out. If you need to leave your luggage in a cloakroom, you have the option to leave at Hotel Amano which is 8-10 minutes walk from Amano Home.

United KingdomExtremely hot in apartment. Air con did not cool the room. Very poor communication. Emailed numerous times, through booking.com and hotel email about the temperature in room, but no one replied. Very interrupted sleep for us all.

FinlandThe entrance had signs and it didn't take long to find it but would've been easier if they had clear instructions in the confirmation email. I also asked for no room cleaning but someone came anyway. I didn't find a bottle opener but otherwise there was everything I needed.
The room and the location are great for solo travelling and I'll definetly visit with my partner next time. It was clean and stylish and there's an U-Bahn station (U Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz) right next to it. Takes just couple of minutes to get to Alexanderplatz with U2 (Ruhleben) where it's easy to change trains if needed. Also Google Maps has really clear instructions and timetables for public transport! The hotel changed to self check-in/check-out the day I arrived and it was really easy and convenient. I did the online check-in and just had to scan the code I got in the email in the lobby to get a key card.

CroatiaOn line check and no staff when making the check inn and check out. There are no extra informations from the staff, because there is no staff, only over the phone if you call them. But when you make a contacct with them all are very friendly and comunicative, but the whole process without personel is a bit sttange.
Overall great, if coming back to Berljn sure would come back. The location is great, 10min from Alexanerplatz, 20m from U-bahn and tram. In 100m are few great pubs and places to eat.

United KingdomThere was no electric kettle despite it being listed in the facilities but no big deal as we realised we could get hot water from the coffee machine!!
The location was excellent. Very comfortable and clean apartment, with nice modern feel to it, lovely large bathroom and can be cleaned every day if you want it. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this accommodation. Great shops, restaurants and cafes all a short walk away and of course the underground station just right outside. Check in and check out was self service, which I suppose is the modern way to do things but we figured it out no bother on arrival and access in and out was absolutely fine!
