We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomVery disappointed that whilst they provided a small bottle of water and tea and coffee as a welcome gift, it was not replenished during a 3 night stay and for 150euros a night its a very simple and cheap thing to continue for guests to enjoy. Having dropped something, under the bed was not clean at all and our socks were dirty after walking on the floor.

United StatesWe were really disappointed that we were only allocated four total pods of coffee for our entire stay. When someone pays for a suite (or any room) they should have access to coffee without paying. This is the first hotel where I’ve ever experienced this and I travel quite frequently.
The room and view were amazing! We loved the balcony and would definitely recommend the suite. It was incredibly relaxing to sit on the patio to relax and enjoy the view. On top of that, the bed was sooo comfortable! There is no air conditioning but you really don’t need it due to the openness, ventilation, and breeze that come through.

Our room overlooked the river. Very scenic. Breakfast was buffet style and had a nice variety of items. Staff was very nice to deal with. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a very nice shower.

United KingdomWaiting on staff particularly the ladies were surprisingly sullen and uncommunicative , no idea why and this was from the outset. The bed skated across the room every time you did as much as sit on it which was annoying. No tea or coffee making facilities which was a shame.

United StatesI thought I paid for a River view with Castle view. We were in the back of the hotel and had to strain to get a view of river. Unfortunately this set the tone and then I was unhappy with the hotel. My expectations were set too high and then I was disappointed. We did not have a view of the castle which is why I paid more to stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location; walkable to everything and if I would have had the room I thought I paid for would have had a magnificent view of the river to include the castle.
The location was great, Right on the river. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good.

GermanyWe only had a partial view of the river, when the photos and advertising led us to believe the room had an unobscured river view. Outside parking options were limited over the holiday weekend, necessitating additional and unexpected expense to reserve a garage space. The evening menu in the hotel restaurant didn't represent good value for money.
Deluxe room was spacious, modern and well maintained. The air conditioning was appreciated. Cochem town centre and its main attractions were only a short walk from the hotel.

Very nice breakfast and coffee. Room was small (Booking.com only tells you afterwards the size with upgrade possibilities) but the room was still nice and adequate for our short stay. View was perfect, overlooking Cochem and the river. The only issue was the drain pipe was rusted through and water leaked out the bathroom faucet a lot. They couldn't fix it immediately, but gave us a bottle of local wine as a little compensation.

United KingdomVery limited parking at hotel 4 spaces in hotel car park and 3 spaces on the road outside of hotel. We had to park off site in a car park for a couple of nights. Not much the hotel can do about this, as other hotels have a similar problem.
Good size bedroom and bathroom and lovely view of the Mosel River, town and castle. Restaurant food very good and staff helpful - enjoyed our stay and ideally located to explore the Mosel Valley with the added benefits of being in Cochem.
