Despite being on the 3rd floor with the windows closed, the loud noise coming from the nearby karaoke bar and another bar also nearby proved to be highly bothersome. Trying to get a good night's sleep before 2am was nearly impossible during both nights of our stay.

nice room, clean bathroom, nice shower. You can see the Rhine and the towers of the cathedral from the room.

Glass panel doors, no privacy. No motif to show was glass. No hooks etc to hang wet towels.

- We could hear noise from some night club nearby, if you have sensitive sleep might be an issue - no ramp (pandus) on the entrance. There is high step that means you have to lift your baggage, for senior citizens might be issue to overcome that step.

- Ourstanding location near embarkment, cathedral and railway station - Tiny room, but cozy, renovated, with modern furniture , good ergonomics and large shower cabin -nice fragrances of washing suppliers -comfortable bed linens - A lot of sockets to charge all your devices You can have option with or without breakfast

We were assigned in 1. Floor and the Karaoke bar like down the street was really loud. We only stayed 1 night so we tolerated it. I recommend asking a room away from the main street. It really tend to be so loud.

Location is top. The room were spacious and well designed. Clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was decent.

The room was great, but it was located at a level that was not accessible by an elevator. It was only 1/2 a flight of stairs, but it could be an issue for some people. They do have an elevator for other floors.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and clean with it's own living room area. It was almost like a little apartment. The beds were very comfortable as well. The location was perfect for us! We came by train and it was only @ a 5 minute walk from the Cologne main train station. It's also located in the Altstadt (Old town) which is full of bars, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

The reading lights over the bed were broken so we had to change rooms. This should not happen, the room was otherwise satisfactory. The elevator is not clean and gives the impression of a hotel that has seen better days.

The room was nice but we had to be upgraded which obvously moved our room above expectations. Breakfast was excellent.

The location was excellent - close to station, museums, restaurants and Christmas markets. The room was a decent size with a newly refurbished bathroom and excellent shower. The staff were helpful and friendly - but especially Paddy on reception who was exceptional.

Location is ideal if one is there during the Christmas markets season, from the hotel everything is nearby, walking distance to all markets. As far as the rooms are concerned, beds and pillows are very comfortable, warm duvets to keep you cozy during cold winter nights.

It is an OK hotel.

The hotel is very close to the Cathedral and other attractions. But it is a relatively old building and the facilities are a bit old. We did not have breakfast at the hotel and it seemed there not not many people having breakfast there anyway.

The soundproof completely doesn't exits in this hotel (but it was in my room description). I was on the 1st floor. there are many pubs and discos around and there was a noise in my room as I would be inside the club downstairs. There is a traditional key, not a card. TV screen has around 18' maybe 19', so it was impossible to watch football match. No one replenished toilet paper and tea during first two days (even though I reported the shortage at first evening, just upon arrival). It is impossible to do ironing in the room, it has to be done in cellar.

Absolutely nice and always helpful staff (24h). They helped me with printing tickets, I could check in little earlier and check out little later. The hotel is clean and rooms are nice. It is located in very nice area with short distance to most important points like: main train station, Rhine river, old town, most museums etc.

A bit expensive and it is in the center so a bit noisy.

The room was clean with all the needed facilities. I did not try the breakfast. The staffs were very helpful.
