We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyAltough it was a hot simmer night, there was no air cooling or a fan which resulted in a not so good sleep. And the mattress wasn't firmly attached to the bed sp it kept sliding around the bed.
It was a nice and comfy place with a appartment type vibe - as the name of the Hotel foreshadows. The breakfast and location also were very nice.

Very nice hotel with modern and spacious room. Nice bathroom with good shower. Good wifi and tasty breakfast. Very close to city centre. Staff was very friendly. Price was not cheap but competitive, comparing to other options this time of the year.

United KingdomLighting was insufficient (too dark for working or reading). Wi-Fi security needs improvement. Reception was not staffed for most of the day. Decor - cheap looking prints of motorcycles (!) in hallways and rooms, uncomfortable chairs (no upholstery, just plastic seats) and small tables do not reflect the hotel price or the architecture of the old building. Extremely rusty radiator pipe in the bathroom needs replacement. Customer orientation and attention to detail could be much better. Some members of staff show outstanding customer care, others should receive training.
Good selection for breakfast and large room. Quiet and central location. Free parking.

United StatesThey advertised free parking but when we arrived all the parking spaces were full so for one night we did not have a parking spot and had to drive around a few blocks to find street parking.
Staff were very friendly; rooms were very clean and spacious. I really enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful!
