How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The apartment was really clean and big. We were 5 adults and the beds were big enough and quite comfortable. The apartment comes equipped with everything you need and is excellent for the price. We even meet part of the staff and they were super friendly!

Some minor issues, slow internet, lack of dishwasher and lack of air conditioning. But still very good value for money,
Very good comfort for reasonable price. Nice apartment, good connection with the city via tram. Clean and perfect for family stay over. Kitchen equipped.

Missing air conditioning, as our room was exposed West and we could not open the shutters from 1:00 PM till 9:00PM on hot days. Fortunately we had 2 fans in our studio.
The soundproof room and the balcony. The large and comfortable bed. The pleasant neighbourhood with many shops.

the appartement was big enough for 3, pretty and very clean. I really love the large bathroom and the equipments provided. the place in the car park was also a +. Marcel has been an incredible host giving us great advice to find a nice restaurant. we exchanged a bit before the trip and I can only thank him for his kindness and professionalism. we will definitely come back!

The sofa was uncomfortable. The window was broken the first night and therefore very noisy. - But the host got people to sort this out the following day.
The apartment was of very comfortable size, had all the appliances needed. The location was very convenient. We had a few problems with the window and the toaster, the host was very responsive and sorted them out quickly. Overall very happy and would go back again if we visit Freiburg again.

The place, the size of the apartment. There were very clean and nice. I forgot my laptop’s cable in the apartment and they sent it to me by post! It was very nice of them! I appreciate it very much.

Comfort of sofa-bed (to sleep) and pillows was just average, and quality of mattresses in the bunk beds were (to my opinion) poor. Wifi, at least at the times and days of our stay, was just "average".
Overall, the attention and professional service received from the administrator, Mr Marcel Mueller. Also the balance price/quality, considering all the different characteristics of the appartement, although some aspects could and should be improved. Finally, convenience and quality of the service available in-house and provided by "Fishermans gute backstube", with very helpful staff.

Nothing could have been better. Was never so please with an accomodation.
The appartement was exceptional. Everything exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff! The bed were very comfortable and the shower was great. Location was very central where I had to go and a bakery was in the same building, open from 6.30 am for breakfast. Good restaurants were nearby.

We stayed at V7 Boutique Appartements for 4 nights with our 3 kids and we had a wonderful time. The place is modern, spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining area. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. The location is great, with a bakery downstairs and a supermarket nearby. The tram stop is right in front of the building, so we could reach the city center in 10 minutes. We enjoyed exploring Freiburg and the surrounding area, and we would definitely recommend V7 Boutique Appartements to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay.

An option for firmer more supportive pillows would be nice. And the sofas are not very comfortable as they are actually hard sofa beds.
My third visit to V7, always a good quality experience - the apartment size, furnishings, bed and kitchen equipment. Nice to have a bakery on the ground floor too.

Freiburg is great - Vaubon in Freiburg is super. Architecture of V7 Boutique Appartments is great. There is a bakery in the basement of house. Host Marcel was so super - we were like special guests. In appartment everything was working - good beds and kitchen. Balcony to the garden was giving more space. We will be back :)
