How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice and spacious place. TV in all the rooms. Nice and clean bathroom. Apt was on the 4th floor with quite a big balcony and 2 separate bedrooms. Kitchen was equipped. Also sponge, dishwasher soap, coffee pads for the machine.

I had a fantastic stay at V7 Boutique Appartements! The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. The self check-in instructions were detailed and clear, ensuring a smooth arrival. A special mention to Sandra, who was incredibly helpful and responded to my messages promptly. Overall, the apartment was in excellent condition and provided a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

There was an odd smell like a bad stench at the ground floor and also while going to the parking to the basement.
Friendly and Helpful Staff. The studio was clean and tidy. Tram stop is right across the street for easier access to public transport.

Lovely up to date and modern apartments with option for paid undercroft parking if reserved in advance. Easy access from the car park into the property and lift available to apartments. Plenty of space inside and a comfortable size for a family with a washing machine and small kitchen area so very well equipped. A leaflet inside the apartment recommended a cable car journey at Schauinslandbahn, just a few minutes away. Very reasonably priced, this was the highlight of our trip, an incredible journey to the top of the snowy mountains and an amazing viewpoint and coffee shop/cafe with cake - delicious! I would highly recommend staying here and exploring the area. Reception staff were also very polite and helpful (even in English as my German is not great) and there is a lovely Backerei serving delicious cakes, drinks and breakfast items with the most wonderful smell travelling throughout the downstairs of the accommodation.

Having a dishwasher would be a super improvement and save some time needed to clean the dishes. Anyway we were fully satisfied in general.
I can recommend the hotel because of its very good location which is a good starting point to explore the city and the surrounding. Also the service was very pleasant and reactive to any issue reported.

Lack of parking place. we come with the car and there is not enough parking place, so it took me 1 hour to find one

Clean, comfortable, and well equipped apartment. The location couldn’t have been more perfect just a short 15 to 20 minutes journey to all the main attractions. Plus, the tram station was conveniently only 2 minute walk away, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The stuffs were amazing (Sandra / Cristina)

The rooms were big and very bright! Supermarkets are at 5 mins walk from the building! The inside parking was very helpful and you have electric bikes next to the building! Per total was a great Holliday and for sure when I will be back in Freiburg I will stay again here. Thank you Sandra and Cristina for being there and answer to all my questions!

There was nothing that I did not like about the town or the accommodation, all good. There was a slight hiccup with key collection as the property had sent the incorrect code for the key dispenser in the carpark. We got to the property after 9pm but luckily there was still someone at the reception although this was not open. They had the correct key code. Could have been a problem if there was no one there but there was a phone number with the instructions. Not sure what times this line would be manned though. Still, all turned out good in the end.
Very good value for money. Easy trip into the town centre. The property was roomy and spotlessly clean. Excellent.
