I can't think of anything negative. All in all, highly recommended.

This studio apartment on the fifth floor was very good. The location couldn't be better, in Mitte one block from the U and S-Bahn. The Central Station is two stops on the U5. Berlin Brandenburg airport is an easy ride on the S-Bahn connecting with either the Regio or the FEX airport express. The Brandenburg Gate is right there and most attractions are only a short distance by public transit, including the Mall of Berlin. The host provided a map of the immediate neighbourhood including grocery shops. There is also a late night convenience store nearby. The check-in was very quick and easy. The building has a lift/elevator. The room was bright and spacious, lots of windows with drapes. The kitchen was well-equipped with a toaster, filter coffee maker and kettle, and dishes for 4. A sponge, cloth, and dishwashing liquid were provided. Cooking and cleanup were easy. The bed was very comfortable, with a lamp and convenient power socket at the night table. Visitors from North America will need a plug adapter, but charging portable devices worked fine on 240 V without a transformer. The WLAN (WiFi) wasn't working at first because the last guest turned off the power bar - easy fix. Security is excellent with an outside key to the building and an inside key which locks securely by turning twice, so I had no concerns.

Ikea style bed. Very low built against a wall. As a couple I had to move to the bottom of the bed to get out. Scraped my shin a few times. Small ridge on floor into bathroom. Yeah, I did trip on this. 🙈. Poorly lit main entrance to appt. If a solo traveller, I may have found this intimidating. Bag drop only available until 1500 , but closes at 1700 ?

Fantastic location. Very clean and warm. Surprisingly quiet even on a main road. Lift was working. Bars and supermarket on doorstep.

I found the bed extremely uncomfortable. Way too hard but that could be personal. There was an ironing board but no iron.

The location was excellent for my meetings and works to do. A walking distance from Potzdammerplatz and very central. I was on the 5th floor and it was very quiet. The last day I discovered a supermarket close by. The apartment is clean and there is all you need but but not very cosy.

Heating in Living room stopped working the first day, it was fixed by the evening. But the next morning wasn’t working again. So we didn’t have heating in the living for the rest of the stay.

No complaints- I think other reviews have said the rooms are stark and they are - it’s not ‘homely’ but you get a lot of space and location wins the day. Bathroom a bit tired - shower curtain etc (clean) but functional. Not sure there was even salt and pepper in the kitchen but hey.

No frills but spacious accommodation across the road from the Adlon hotel. Great area of town for all the main central sites. Beds comfy - hot water good. Kitchen stock ok but basic.

They need to improve the cleaning service, the bathroom smelled like no one had cleaned it in weeks, disgusting. The apartment needs maintenance and renovations, sockets coming off from the wall, walls and floors deteriorated, bathroom in bad conditions. Common areas of the building are unpleasant, dirty and damaged. One expects more for more than 200€ per night for an apartment with no hotel services.

Location is perfect for sightseeing in Berlin, close to most attractions. The rooms are large and comfortable.

The pillows were VERY large and quite uncomfortable. A washer/dryer combo would have been appreciated, rather than just the washer on its own. And a microwave might have been a nice option, but hardly worth complaining about.

We were two families totalling 11 people, and hired two apartments. They were not in the same building but were close enough for it to not be an inconvenience. The location of both apartments was exceptional. The train, Brandenburg Gate, Jewish Memorial, Berlin Mall, supermarket, restaurants and lots of site-seeing spots all within a 5-10 minute walk. We stayed over New Year's Eve and the fireworks could easily be seen from both apartments, and the double-glazed windows adequately blocked out the extra street noise through the night. The kitchens and bathrooms were very clean. The apartments were identical; both very spacious, both with excellent storage options and fully equipped with everything we needed.

I would have appreciated a Microwave among all other Gadgets they have provided. Everything else is there in place Bathroom needs a bit of maintenance with a leaking shower

Location, Location and Location. This apartment was located exactly where Fuerherbunker stood 80 years back and literally we parked our car on top of the bunker. Visiting a historical place is good, but spending 3 days right on top is very special. Many must visit places are just 10 to 20 mins walk. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Thr heaters did their job well.

Pretty basic apartment. The photos made it look like there were 2 bathrooms. There were not. They also showed great views from the apartment. There were not.

The sofa surface was extensively peeling. I cannot imagine that this happened overnight - it is not a suitable standard for short stay guests who are paying a high price for the location. Also the pillows smell quite bad and also need to be replaced.

We were on the top floor which is not serviced by the lift. That was okay most of the time but heavy bags were a bit of a struggle.
