Mattress was not really comfortable and the sauna and fitness room lacked a locker room to undress.

I booked this room because it was well situated close to the main station. Surpringsinly it had a sauna which made my stay so much better! The sauna is included, but its a bit small, but okay.

The neighbourhood is not the safest one. We didn't have any problems but I wouldn't walk alone there in the evening.

We got a free upgrade so the room was way better than expected. We came in the evening and stayed only one night, didn't eat breakfast.

The bath had a small glass screen and you have to hide behind it while taking a shower but the floor still went wet. The blankets were narrow giving less comfort compared to the wider ones (I suppose they wouldn't be comfortable for a couple). Sauna was not working the whole period of my 7-day stay. The staff told it was our of order. The neighborhood is awful. This is not the fault of the hotel, but I have to mention it. Despite the fact that there's a police station just in from of the hotel, there's lots of homeless people, prostitutes, drug addicts, drug dealers, people with asocial behavior and people with obvious signs of mental disorder (speaking in medical terms). I did met all those people at any part of the day, but especially in the evening, of course, which made me feel highly uncomfortable and unsafe on my one-block way from restaurant to hotel. I've never met such amount of those people near any of the central stations in Germany (Berlin, Dresden, Munich etc.)!

Helpful friendly staff, clean rooms cleaned every day with towels changed every day if left on the floor, good varied breakfast, room is cozy with a wide bed and soft pillows. The location was not bad in terms of nice restaurants one block from the hotel and Lidl in from of the hotel, but somewhat far from the Hamburg central railway station. There's an underground parking in the hotel with lots of parking lots (the driveways between the levels is veeeeery narrow, but it's the problem of all German hotels)

Property is located in 10 minutes by foot from Main rail station. In 5 minutes from hotel is underground station : Lohmühlenstraße.

Big room with a nice design, bathroom with a tub. Great breakfast with a large selection of dishes. Good location, near to U-Bahn stations, close to the city center. Sauna and gym are a pleasant addition to a nice stay.

We thought the area was a little run down, especially at night it felt a bit dangerous. If we go to Hamburg in the future, we would choose a more touristy area for that reason. The sauna in the hotel was not working.

Our room was quite big and close to the train station. We were also able to leave our bags at the hotel after checking out.

Waited 10 minutes for checkin. Only 1 staff there. Nice furniture in the lobby but very old and used; same as the carpet in the corridors. Extremely narrow parking and expensive. Impossible to book double bed. Emptied bottle of shower gel & no replacement done. No cleaning up of the room between our 2 nights. Waited 10 minutes to get a place at breakfast. Breakfast food was good but not much choice. Hotel very expensive for a location, where one does feel more in Turkey or North Africa than in Hamburg nice German city.

The first day the hotel was not informed about the free breakfast for genius members of booking.com, however it was settled the next morning.😉

The two beds were super and the breakfast buffet rich🤗.. For me the neighborhood was interesting with lots of restaurants and bazar Turkish.

Bar not open during our visit. Area a little run down. No real issues however

Hotel perfectly fine for a short one night stay. Hotel was able to accommodate an earlier check in and rang me when the room was ready. The short walk from Hbf takes 10 minutes but like all major cities the area around the main station can be a little unsettling. However we encountered no issues and the fact that the hotel is directly opposite the Police station gave some reassurance. Lidl also opposite for those seeking supplies. Nearby u bahn station very useful.

Air conditioning was not working in the Room, so it was very cold at the night. We asked staff for the heater however for safety reasons we turned it off for the night. It was 19-20 celsias.

Long waiting time coffee machines at breakfast

Very good breakfast, very friendly staff, spacious rooms, good WiFi, nice welness & fitness on the top floor. Liked the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Staff made the extra effort to change rooms.
