The poor quality of the rooms.

The equipment, furniture and room was poor, old standards. The breakfast was ok, but rolls were hard, could be more variety and fresher fruits. The location is very good situated. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I had a lot of WiFi issues, connection was unstable, in the lobby had issues, but in the room it got worst. Hairdryer cable was partially severed and short circuited so the hairdryer stop working, and then it worked again. I reported this cause it could be dangerous.

Good breakfast, diverse. Comfortable room, good shower. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Would have liked facilities to make a hot drink in the room. No bar area or place to relax away from your room.

Location is the key to this hotel, not far from the central train station and a perfect location to explore the city. Staff pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast good.

Very different style rooms, some really run down which affects the comfort.

It was OK for a short stay as it was much cheaper than anything else in Köln in december. Great location, next to an U bahn, 7 minutes walking from the catedral.

You can kind of hear conversations through the walls so it's a good idea to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

My pillo was bad and too soft. The radiator temperature was not enough.

The bathroom was smelling mold but I opened the window and some frisch Luft solved everything. The only real problem was that I had to leave my bag in the hotel and take it back later in that day. The place I left my bag had no keys and it was an open hall in fact. I was worried about it’s security.

When I read the comments I got really worried but it was better than I expected. The hotel was clean but it is old and needs some renovation. I am satisfied with my experience because it is really not possible to find a hotel in that location with such a reasonable price.

Location and staff of the hotel were really great. I could walk or get Uber/Taxi/Train easily from the hotel.

Yes it's not newly renovated, yes some things are kinda broken (not funktional things do so we didn't care) BUT we for the price we paid it was perfect. The stuff was nice and helpful and we were able to leave our luggage for the afternoon. Also the breakfast was good and we had a nice stay :)

Unfortunately the room wasn't fully clean, there were hair in the bed and in the shower. The room smelled with sewage but reception didn't have solution for it - no rooms to replace as they were fully booked, no air freshener, no perfume, no help. We had to stay with open window all night and therefore it was extremely cold. Also I understand everyone can have a bad day but some information on what we have to do with registration form would be nice, please try to speak to guests next time as it was very unwelcoming feeling.

Central location with many shops around, close to city center. Comfortable, big bed. Good value for money, not so expensive as the other hotels in this location.

black mold on the shower walls and shower door. broken hairdryer. bathroom exhaust fan covered in dust and therefore not doing it’s job. neither bathroom trash nor room trash was emptied after housekeeping was “complete” (until I found housekeeping and asked). tissues not replaced even though I told the front desk to tell housekeeping (again, had to find housekeeping in the hallway and ask)
