Really suuuper breakfast, clean rooms,hotel parking disastrous since they don’t accept reservations and we returned after our concert with the Bandbus with hotel parking occupied by outside guests. Had to park unguarded outside. Luckily no issues

The Hotel is well located, located beside the Chocolate Museum and it takes around 20 mins to walk to the Dom and Central Station. If you arrive by car, make sure to reserve a parking spot at the hotel, if not, there is a public parking really close and cheaper. The rooms are pretty cool and spacious. A great option for Köln. We didn´t have breakfast because we thought it was a bit too expensive, but you can find good options in the city.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the ARTOTEL in Cologne, and while there were many aspects of my stay that I enjoyed, there was one significant aspect that left me somewhat disappointed. First and foremost, the location of the ARTOTEL is fantastic. It's conveniently situated in the heart of Cologne, making it easy to explore the city's attractions, restaurants, and cultural sites. The staff at the hotel were also friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The room itself was well-appointed and comfortable, offering all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel's art-inspired decor was a unique touch that added to the overall ambiance. However, one aspect of my stay that I found less appealing was the color of the carpets throughout the hotel. While I understand that ARTOTEL aims to be artistic and distinctive in its design, the choice of vibrant and somewhat garish carpet colors was a bit overwhelming. The bold and clashing colors in the hallways and common areas detracted from the otherwise stylish and sophisticated atmosphere of the hotel. It made the spaces feel less calming and more chaotic. I believe that a more subdued and harmonious color palette would better complement the hotel's artistic theme and create a more relaxing environment for guests. It's important to strike a balance between creativity and comfort, and in this aspect, I feel that the hotel could make some improvements.

What made the breakfast experience at Serenity Hotel truly exceptional was the exceptional service provided by the dedicated staff. Attentive waitstaff ensured that every guest felt valued and catered to, anticipating our needs with efficiency and a genuine warmth. They were more than willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions or personal preferences, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable and personalized breakfast experience for each guest. The luxurious ambiance of the dining area, with its tasteful décor and elegant table settings, added an extra touch of sophistication to the breakfast experience. The bed was really comfy. Although you are close to the bridge with car and public transport traffic it wasn't hearable, because the window was good isolated. If you leave the window open, you will here noises always. The terrace was good to take fresh air, but there could be more seating availablity. In general good stay over.

The parking was a nightmare for us… we got in late and drove into their private parking garage which was full (no sign indicated this!). We dented our car trying to turn around to get out & it took forever for the staff to let us out of the garage and for us to find the entrance to the nearest parking lot. Also we had 2 rooms on different floors and with hotel security (which I would normally consider a good feature), our family couldn’t get to each other’s floors/rooms. And unfortunately the staff weren’t particularly helpful with either issue.

No place in the hotel’s parking. No places to park the car in the streets nearby.
