Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyCheck in and out is very easy, it is super clean and in winter nice and warm. I personally like to have an electric kettle in my hotel room but it is nothing I would complain about. When I had to leave a day early they reimbursed me one night even though they did not have to.

DenmarkI wish we could find iron somewhere at the hotel. We could not find any staff or somewhere to ask for an iron for our dress.
The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was quiet with no noise. Liked it. There was free coffee and tea available at the hotel, you barely find that in other hotels.

United KingdomThe location is OK but took longer to reach due to engineering work. One thing to note - I didn't just let my door close behind me as it didn't lose completely, I had to pull it to make sure it had fully closed but that may have been unique to my room.
Large rooms, very clean and the coffee machine is a nice touch. Both bakeries mentioned are very good.

ItalyThe hotel is a bit of a walk from the U-Bahn station, which is a bit of a pain when you have luggage. Also, don't forget to check their emails regarding check-in -- you need a checkin code from the hotel to access the building, and it's a pain if you forget and have to do this on your phone standing outside the hotel!
A comfortable hotel that's great value for money and a good place to stay in Hamburg. There is also a Turkish restaurant in the same building, which is convenient for dinner. They provide a coffee machine in the hallway and tea bags, which is convenient.

Even it is online operated hotel i mean no reception they must introduce the hotel as online operation hotel as i reached night and stayed half an hour on the street until one man give me wifi and i send message to the hotel and I checked in on line and i got the password for the entrance I enter room was good clean but i need to take my medicine no water even no glass to use the tap water So plz booking .com announce it as it is not operational hotel
