Did not find a place for parking, all spots were taken, but we found our parking spot next to the hotel on the street. It was free and we also did mention that to the hotel stuff.

We loved the hotel design, first floor was nice and comfy. The stuff was extremely kind. Breakfest at the 5th floow with amazing views and variaty of food choices. Nice balcony with a view to the city & mountains.

Very nice, clean and confortable hotel, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpfull staff. Free parking close to the hotel. Lobby is very nice decorated and confortable, so it is very pleasant to spend some time, even outside if you want in winter days, there are heating lamps to warm you.

Just one small point . Info in the folder in bedroom was v sparse re: hotel facilities i.e. sauna and gym availability and opening times etc. No information re: local area, walking trails, other nearby towns etc. May be useful to have this info in room. - though we had visited the area before so had reasonable knowledge. staff were friendly and helpful and we had v comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was excellent - great choice, healthy options, plentiful- all with wonderful view of mountains. Staff v friendly . Lounge/ bar area very comfortable , relaxing space with attractive decor and artwork. Modern gym with good equipment. Small sauna v welcome after walking around Xmas markets. Location good , close to town centre & v close to train station and Rupertus Therme.

Everything works very well in pure Austrian style. Friendly staff, new and clean building, small sauna, quiet rooms, breakfast room on the fifth floor with a view of the mountains, very generous breakfast with top-quality products, covered and uncovered parking, you walk five minutes and you are in the city centre with restaurants and parks ... what else? Without doubt the price is justified by the quality

Very limited free parking. 15€ for parking in the hotel's garage seems excessive given the rooms are cheap. The mattresses of the double bed were not connected so the gap in-between them was pretty wide.

Everything was just great. The staff from the reception coubter to the dining , they are all very friendly and helpful. Location to hotel is just opposite to train station. Hotel is newly renovated, room is big and clean.

I cannot think of something not pleasant...we got a short stay indeed but everything was more then expected.

We were just transiting that area, however now we do consider coming for a holliday. Meet really friendly staff there, provided us with all needed info to quickly adjust to area. Nice and fully services provided as well!

Excellent hotel located near Salzburg. In a quiet and peaceful place and beautiful location. The room is very decent, everything is fresh and modern. The bathroom has everything you need and even a radio. Breakfast was excellent, both adults and children's needs were catered for. The receptionist explained everything. There is a paid underground car park (15 EUR/night), but it cannot be used for electric cars.

Everthing was perfect. I stayed about 3.5 verifiable years at Marriott properties plus all the other hotels/resorts we stayed and I have seen many hotels. My wife and I both loved this hotel.

The management and ownership of this hotel gets it. The hotel was beautifully designed, very comfortable and they thought about everything. Other hotel owners should visit this hotel to understand modern comfort and hospitality. We really loved everything about it. Safe garage at a fee, wonderful breakfast on the top floor of the hotel with inside and outside seating. We enjoyed the breakfast outside and the views were breathtaking. The breakfast was the best we had on our 16 day trip. Delicious coffee from a machine, great selection. The hotel is across from the railway station. We were offered free tickets to Salzburg and to Berchtesgaden. We wanted to see the Eagles Nest however not enough time in the afternoon. We should be back to do that as a dat trip and we will stay again in this wonderful hotel.

The only things I would advise on is that: on arrival it would be good if everything that they tell you at reception was also printed. There is a lot to take in and remember. The other thing is the Car Parking which can be frustrating. There are only a few spaces out the back of the hotel. There are a load of spaces in an underground car park under the hotel, however to use this facility one has to pay 15 Euros Per Night!

Room excellent, Staff excellent, Breakfast excellent, all the facilities are excellent, in fact it is hard to fault the Hotel Avalon. The breakfast is amazing, lunch is not required lol. All the staff are very professional and helpful, as British visitors we had to ask for assistance and it was brilliant.

The hotel was chic and clean and in a great location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served at the 5 floor where the restaurant has a balcony with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Location was best for us because it was only a 10 mins walk to the downtown area and 2-3 mins walk from the Königlicher Kurgarten.

Only issue with the room is that the air conditioner didn't seem to drop below 25°C. Otherwise, it was great!
