Checking in and out was very easy and didn’t require any staff. Also the location is quite nice.

There where no closets on the room. For a 4 person family in one room with no closets it's not recommended.

I felt cold but i did not increase A/C degree because they have limited it from center. Metro little bit far from otel you had to walk 10-15 minutes to metro, but center of city is only 5 stations away. Our room was smelled bad we thought it came from carpet. Also, one time use slipper would be fine.

Room was large enough for two people also staff are very friendly and helpful. Room and sheets were clean. Bathroom was good.

The lady managing breakfast told us to hurry up at 9 30 am, and started shutting off all the lights and clearing up at 9 50 am. We felt really rushed and uncomfortable to finish our breakfast.

No electric kettle in room, no microwave available in lobby; had to buy coffee from vending machine.

Clean room, size ok for 3 people in big, modern building away from city center. Private toilet, separate shower, very good soundproofing, good air conditioning in mid-June. Wifi was good inside; weak just outside front door. Industrial/business area, so needed to walk some to find restaurants and some shops if needed. Didn't buy breakfast but looked satisfactory; had large, nice dining area. 10 minute walk from Technology Park S-Bahn stop; convenient that Lidl grocery was along the way... bought packaged salads, drinks, pastries, etc there. Hotel staff was friendly, helpful.

the front desk was not helpful. The hotel said it had parking spaces and it was completely full. We asked him where we could park or if he knew of another parking place and all the time his answer was no and I don't know. We have to ask the security guy from the mercedes building for some help.

breakfast could have more variety; a fridge and kettle in the family room would have been convenient . would have been nice to have apps on the tv like youtube or something instead of screen mirroring which required an android phone or perhaps a samsung that we did not have

for us it served its purpose as we came for the weekend to attend something in Ehrenfeld but as a local tourist to Koln location is probably not convenient especially if you are not driving. all in all we had a very comfortable stay and the staff was very friendly. would also be nice if they were responsive as i had asked prior the costs for breakfast but got no response on booking.com

Breakfast is a bit expensive for what is provided, but convenient to have on-property.

You know what you're getting with BnB, a decent, clean hotel at a reasonable price. As long as you're not expecting a 5-star hotel, it's a solid place to stay. We generally seek out BnB because of the consistency in their offering.

I would easily give this place higher ratings but despite the great things I mentioned I surprisingly found it lacking very minor but important things! First of, the hotel doesn't have a clothes iron! This is a big deal for me when I come for business events and it is something I always found even in small hotels. The room doesn't have a phone so if you needed something or had an inquiry you have to go down to the reception. Also would be nice if you put a complementary bottle of water like other hotels do. Everything I mentioned here is not costly. It is almost nothing to what I think they spent to keep the rooms that clean and modern. So I hope the management improves these little details so the experience becomes superb next time :)

I'll start with the personnel. Amazing service. I arrived early before the check-in time, the lady at the reception was super nice to let me in the room very quickly as soon as they got it ready. The room is very modern, clean, spacious, big tv screen,It even had an A/C. Not a room you'd expect in a budget hotel.

Staff did a great job kindly accommodating us when we noticed the family room we were assigned smelled like urine. I don’t think this is a normal occurrence; the two rooms we were given instead were perfectly fine, comfortable and very clean. Very nice staff. Allowed us to park early before check-in. Quick walk to the S-Bahn for easy access downtown. I would stay again on a return to Köln to avoid parking downtown for sure.
