How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location isn't nice (close to railway) but it's easy to come to city center by foot. We did not use garage since we have rather big car (enterence to garage is very narrow).
Good breakfast, very clean room wit exellent bed, but for 3 adoult persons rather small space in room. Everything perfect for one night stay.

Access to main entrance from street has steep public stairs and view is the busy railyards
Very comfortable, clean spacious room. Staff friendly and helpful. Best Margherita pizza ever. Easy walking distance to everything.

the beds where to hard for comfort. Our family room was at the end of the hall way (end of hotel) and close to the railway. Due to this combination, hard bed and all night noise from trains we did not receive the sleep that we needed.
cleanliness and modern decorated room. The breakfast was suitable for this type of hotel. car park underneath hotel is very handy when arriving with car.

I needed boiled water in the evening (medical condition). The reception wouldn't help me, although coffee express was literally there, next to a person behind the desk. I was too surprised to even point it out.
I liked the room a lot! Good bed, everything super clean, optimal space.

Very convenient for the train station. Reception stays open till 23.00. My train was seriously delayed; I phoned the hotel, they sent me a code by text and email, so I could let myself in after 23.00. All very efficient. Breakfast from 6.30am was a bonus; early train to catch. All good!

The reception manager was unfriendly - almost rude. We paid for 4 breakfasts and I had to pay for each with a separate transaction

Location looked quite desolate but was not in reality.
Clean, simple, well located despite close to railway. Everything worked, breakfast nice and sufficient. Especially parking for 5 Euros was very reasonable. Walked into city centre, Cathedral, restaurants and sights in 10 minutes.

Although I support recycling, I didn't like the paper cups in the room. I also would have liked a safe in the room.
The hotel's design of future (Einstein) and past (Muenster cathedral) was innovative. The refurbished building was carefully thought out for the gust experience. The breakfast was bountiful in a spacious dining room. Underground parking in the August heat was appreciated - for only €5 per day. The rooms were streamlined, but comfortable with dine-in options. The air conditioning was as promised and wonderful. The soundproof rooms were lovely next to the train. The location was very nice - convenient to walk through the park or streets.

Great location, close to the old town, restaurants and cafes. Very clean, functional room. Breakfast is good. As an extra, from our room we could have a good view of the cathedral.

The location isn't great. It seems closer to the main station than what it actually is.
