The staff is extremely helpful, welcoming and understanding. They addressed our requests immediately (we were in Hamburg for the marathon and had particular requests). Tobias Schindler in particular was extremely nice and accommodating, we couldn’t thank him enough. We would definitely stay again in this hotel.

Room was tidy and clean, size enough for my family. I didn't use the breakfast service. I left early in the morning. Parking was ok but a bit far.

I thought the hotel was exceptional except for the last night a group of young people in rooms 2nd floor were running up and down the corridor to 1.15am I did speak with them several times eventually they settled down. The staff and facilities were excellent.

Big family room with nice bunk beds for the kids. The room was clean. Great as a stopover for a night while on the way south or north. Close to the main highway. Parking garage close by. Shower was good with enough pressure.

I paid over €350 for two nights, and yet all over the hotel there was marketing material telling me what great value for money it is, free cancellation, etc. Gotta wonder if it was B.com that gouged me or the hotel. I did book rather late, but for the class of hotel the price was simply not ok. The breakfast buffet for €10.50 was standard fare with decent rolls -- "sustainable," regional, "Bio" etc... and yet the meat tray kept being attacked faster than it could be refilled. In general the guests at breakfast were a veritable horde, which was no fun. I skipped it on day two. The manager (? I guess, he looked busy and important with a scowl) and day staff could take a page from the night shift and try to be a bit less stuffy. It's a budget hotel with a hostel vibe, no need to act like it's the Hyatt (although the rates are like the Hyatt). Finally I'd like to thank the kind night shift staff, who told me where to get a beer when the vending machine only had shandy left (could use a frequent refill). Put those young men on the day shift, too!
