We arrived at the Bayerischer Hof mid-morning well before check-in, left our bags, and took a stroll around the Marienplatz. Within 45 minutes our room was ready. Our accommodations were beautiful, the staff was amazing from front desk reception to Golden Key concierge. Our suite was always fresh and ready when we returned each afternoon. One evening we enjoyed dinner at the rooftop terrace restaurant which was delightful with amazing views of the Munich skyline.

An amazing hotel in the centre of Munich. We had an upgrade to junior suite room, quite spacious, very comfy bed and a great bathroom. In the morning we had a great buffet breakfast on the top floor. The staff was exquisite, polite, helpful.

The room wifi did not let my laptop connect. No coffee facilities in the room. Not enough pillows on the bed. Maybe I could have asked, However I tend to be a person that puts up with what they have and find my own work around.

I was surprised that the fast internet wasn't included in the price of the room or that in this type of hotel you even had a choice between a slow (free) internet or a fast one (extra charge per day).. It felt as a very outdated part of the experience and unnecessary.

The staff was the best part of the experience together with the views from the hotel.. For me it was the first time spending a night in a luxury hotel, so even though i felt nervous and maybe had a few "dumb"/first timer questions: everyone at the hotel made the experience feel very special.

The hotel needs a modern touch. Nothing was changed since our last visit a couple years ago, but the services at 5 star hotels improved a lot in resent years. A coffee mashin and a tee in the room for example. Or a nice touch from the room service with evening linen for the legs or some slight sign for welcome. We would be delighted to see some improvements in our next visit. :)

front desk staff let us down too many times. the concierge made mistakes booking our train trip to Salzburg…it eventually cost me 240€ more than necessary due to their mistakes. Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. check in was a complete mess, as we asked for a room change to accommodate my 86 year old mother in law with a walk in shower. we ended up in a small room in the rafters on the 6 th floor after originally having a lovely spacious room on the second floor. again, not good enough for a 5 star hotel. spoiled the whole stay.

There were some flies in the room I believe coming up from the water pipes... The walls in the room and bathroom was not very clean there were visible stains... the shower hose sprayed in all directions

I couldn't regulate the air conditioned in my room. Also, I was expecting a large traditional lobby like those grand european hotels and the entrance is a bit underwhelming, small for a hotel this size, no place for a coffe for instance.

Beautiful bathroom but water pressure insufficient and bath taps requiring instructions to use (which were not provided). English translations would have been welcome. And above all, time to trade in ‘Trader Vicks’. Worst meal in a long time.

We noticed one housekeeping lady, who did not wear a mask correctly. Also, she did not even greet when we met her in the aisle. One night, we ordered 2 extra pillows from the (housekeeping) room service, but we had to wait the pillows to arrive for more than 2 hours (I were already asleep, when the pillows finally arrived). The receptions staff (downstairs) seemed to be very busy all the time - this left somehow not a very personalized feeling when I discussed with them.

The spa reception staff were excellent, they delivered my "after gym" smoothie directly to the gym.
