How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Basic welcome at the reception this time. But you get what you payed for.
Interesting if you get a good price (<50€) for the room. Good location: nice and quiet area, only 3 bus stops away from main train station. The old buiding is rather pleasant.

The second buikding had no heating on and the room was freezing! The staff did not inform me about the possibility and terms of payment for public parking which is a bit deceptive.
Simple hostel, clean and in calm area.

The room was rather small for the price, but it is comprehensible because of the city.

The man on the reception was so friendly and polite , unfortunately I forgot his name , I can give him 10/10 , the room was enough pretty, but the price of hotel was low , so for this price I can say it was good , I like location there , so quite place , very close to central station, if you use public transport ,shop in 1 minute and some cafes around…

Poor view from window. Ground floor, so as lone female, felt unsafe to open windows. Shower dated and not very clean. No information of any kind in rooms, ie things to do etc. Was available in reception...across the courtyard.

The clean on the floor of the room was very bad look they don't make or make with not good attention! There was powder in the corner and some hairs around. I advice yo make it better.
The stuffsat reception were very Gentle and available to help with my questions. The bed was very comfortable.

We left very early in the morning a reception was closed so had to leave room keys in key box on wall outside reception. USED TO COLLECT KEYS. Then tried to email hotel telling then where keys were and email on app, not delivered, so had the call hotel.to confirm. A simple post box outside would have resolved the issue.
Location in quiet part of the city. Hotel was clean and pleasant

The room is being cleaned every day but it feels like only the sheets/towels are changed, as there was a rather big spider web on the floor during the whole stay . It was not cleaned even though the staff came and changed the sheets and organised the room. The weird part is that the web was in a very central location (not behind a furniture for example) - at the corner of the cupboard - the whole edge was wrapped in it (just in front of the bed). One local guy at reception was really nice and helpful, whereas the other person, foreigner, made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome since our arrival.
It was cozy, large rooms and very warm and comfortable. It is honestly a value for money even though we expected a bit more.

The hotel had a very good price, it is a bit old style but I liked the fact that the room was very big and very clean. The area is very good, quiet and 2 minutes walking there is a supermarket where you can find everything. I would stay again for sure.

Extra charge for the dog that wasnt said in the listing. I dont have a problem to pay for the dog but it would be nice to say in the listing. Also, you shoul tell tourists from abroad that it is necessary to get "Umweltzone" sticker (17,5 €) and where to buy it because we got information from the navigation system, otherwise you could get a big fine. Also, those 2 little blankets are just not working for grown ups.
Nice location if you dont wanna stay in city center. Room was very clean and quit big for the price we got. Nice and helpfull staff! There is a parking spot for hotel but it costs 10€

The room was too cold. I was breezing at night. Interior design is old. Furnitures are really old. Location is not so central but 8-10 mins walk to U-bahn.
It was a last min place for me. I think the price is worth for it. It is very clean. Room had everything I needed. Breakfast is not included but there is supermarket just behind the hotel.
