How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

we booked two rooms and even if we did not asked these to be adjoining, did not find it suitable that the Hotel gave my sister an adjoining room with sameone else while ours was the next one. additionally this guest having the room between our two, checked in after us and was extremely "noisy". definitely the rooms are not sound-proof enough. the bathroom is very small and just two pillows for a double room with two people.

The sheets on the bed were dirty and had some stains, which we could not identify. But it was replaced and cleaned immediately!
Very nice hotel, decent location for our one night stay during a road trip.

Paid parking without prior notice. Narrow parking spots, way too many cars - there was a wedding party or something. And hotel guests had a hard time finding a parking spot. For €8 per night. Pathetic.

No air conditioning in the room. The room was very warm, which meant the windows had to be left open at night. Being by the car park meant we were disturbed through the night. For the premium room price this is not a good value hotel. One pillow (to save money), a small bathroom with leaking shower door and having to pay for the car park, despite being out of town, Best Western are not looking after their customers.
Decent size bedroom. Comfortable bed. Krupps coffee maker. Excellent breakfast room with good choice of food and coffee. Only 10 minutes or so from lovely Ulm by car. Polite, efficient staff all over the hotel.

I should fill in 3x times my estimate arrival and when we came nobody in reception. same for departure. I know that is due to covid but some core hours every day will be useful.

Could do with a sign from the main road.
Have seen a few negative reviews about this place and to be honest I have no idea why. Room was large with comfy bed. Easy access from autobahn and nearby bus stop gets you into the city in ten minutes.

We were charged for parking, but on the next day. When we arrived and parked the receptionist did not say anything about paid parking; we asked her if we could park and she said "sure, take any place". However, on the next day another receptionist asked if we parked our car, and then charged us for parking. They should mention all charges up front. When we arrived for breakfast 30 min before it ends, there was not much left and the staff did not seem to be bothered to replenish it. There were a few people who arrived after us, and I don't know if they got anything.
The room was nice and comfy. It was quiet enough. The breakfast was ok.

No a/c and on the hottest weekend of the year not so good, room was next a road so you could hear every car. Room was small as was the bathroom.
