Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe hotel did not have air conditioning when it was extremely hot in Berlin. And no cold water provided to the guests.
I called a staff of the hotel because I left a bag with my grey cashmere coat and a black pants in the room. He said the hotel found the bag with my belongings. I told him that I will come back to Berlin in October. He said the hotel will keep the bag for me. Hopefully the hotel can confirm this via email: Noellexie@gmail.com

United Arab EmiratesI couldn't sleep properly because the room was warm and there was no air conditioner. The pillows were also too soft. and there is no way to stop the housekeeping staff from knocking on your door every morning.
The room was clean and spacious. wide and comfy bed. The location of the hotel was also great. there is a metro station very near to the hotel so you can go anywhere you want in Berlin.

NigeriaRoom Cleaning: I requested that my room to be cleaned for three days consecutively before it was eventually done , a day before my departure. Thankfully, I had a twin bed room and was able to switch beds when the sheets weren’t changed when I requested. Noise: The hotel is by a traffic light so get ready for the accompanying noise. I shut the window to cut this out but since the room had no air conditioning , I had to choose the lesser of two evils.
Location is excellent as it is surrounded by fast food chains and shopping arcades. it is also next door to an underground train station. Room: The rooms are fairly large and the private bathroom adequate.

Germanythere was no AC or climate control in the room which was weird considering it’s a 5 star hotel. we got a small pedestal fan after we asked the reception - it was not enough but it was will something! We stayed there for 4 nights and didn’t get new towels and room service even once. which was quite upsetting. The room we got was clean but the pillows were extremely uncomfortable!!!
