I didn't like having to climb up four stairs to go to the bathroom or the automatic light sticking on for 2 or 3 minutes afterwards. My other room from 5 o4 6 years ago wasn't so configured so I wasn't happy with this configuration because I get up at least 3 or 4 times to go to the bathroom and having to negotiate 4 stairs when groggy and half-asleep was NOT fun.

The location is on the outskirts or Kaiserslautern so it's very quiet. I stayed there about 5 or 6 years ago and felt comfortable staying a night there again. The Thai restaurant is first class!

The shower was tiny and the towels were very thin. It was a little off the beaten path but acceptable. No elevator and I had large heavy suitcases. The doors were locked when I arrived (10 pm) I had to call to have someone to come open the door so that I could check-in. They did help me with my luggage so that was helpful.

The food was good, the bed was comfortable, the scenery was picturesque and the staff was helpful and nice.

Hotel had EV charging for two cars as this is useful. Cost of the EV charging was 15 euros as flat fee. Room was clean and a decent size.

The main light was quite bright but there was no bulb in the bedside light. I used the desk lamp instead.

Lovely location by a lake and quiet. Room was lovely with large comfortable wooden bed and large wardrobe, a bench for bags, a tv and desk and a minibar and good WiFi and lamp.Bathroom had shower,basin and toilet and hairdryer toiletries. Good breakfast scrambled eggs, bacon and small sausages, bread rolls, butter cheese cold meats,jam,yoghurt,orange juice and coffee. Excellent evening meal at Thai restaurant Zäb Dee. Delicious duck Pad Thai , vegetarian option of tofu Pad Thai also recommended. Desserts were also delicious.

The only remark i have, minibar's light at night and the sound from it, i would put it in a cabinet to cancel the noise and to not have the light visible.

Very nice renovated hotel and rooms everything clean, good facilities and very friendly staff. 2 big plus where the ventilator on the room and the choice between 2 pillows. Nice fresh breakfast with enough choice. Outside you can have a nice walk, beautiful area. Parking (motorcycle) for me is always a priority but that was perfect just outside the entrance with a view on it directly from my room. The restaurant i can also advise, good fresh and very tasty food

the hotel is located in a wonderful location, but there is a Thai restaurant under part of the hotel, so the whole hotel has a massive smell of food and the rooms are noisy, which is very uncomfortable. the room we received didn’t correspond at all to what we had booked, even though they said it was also a Comfort room….the cleanliness also leaves something to be desired, but all this wouldn’t have been so confusing if it had not been as if we were sleeping in the kitchen of a McDonald's which made our stay there unbearable... there was also no elevator since I had a leg injury, and the constant climbing of stairs was unpleasant. if the conditions are like this, we should think about normalizing prices!

The breakfast was not great Old and limited. When I mentioned the eggs were old their response was "Well it's been out since 6:30 when breakfast starts". I would not rate this as a 4-star - 3 yes, but not four. The restaurant is a Thai restaurant - which for us was good as we like Thai, but it's the only option.

The location is fantastic with trees and lakes around it.
