How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A wonderful equipped apartment in the very center of the city, within walking distance of all attractions. Easy check-in with a digital code on the door, detailed instructions and information from the owner. I recommend it for visiting Baden-Baden.

Hidden gem in Baden Baden! The apartment Claire was perfect, really clean, big and comfy! Right in the city centre but it is not loud. We loved our stay here and would stay here again when we come back to Baden Baden. We parked our car by the schlösatraße for free overnight for the 2 days and it was absolutely fine and safe. It was about a 10 minute walk from car to the apartment (downhill) it was perfect.

This apartment was excellent! The accommodations were very comfortable, the apartment was fully equipped with everything we might need (hair dryer, iron and board, full kitchen, many thoughtful touches). We loved the couch and TV for hanging out on Christmas day, and preparing snacks and wine in the kitchen! The available laundry machines were a wonderful perk for our long trip. Maximilian was so kind and quick to respond. Absolutely wonderful stay, and an incredible value for the cost! The whole apartment was squeaky clean, which I really appreciated, especially after staying in a less clean hotel previously. It was also quite spacious. If I return to Baden Baden I will absolutely be staying here again.

The sofa wasn't the most comfortable but still functional. All units at Boutique Charme are in one large block, but there are other businesses and multiple entrances. Was a bit confusing at first but any competent traveler will figure it out without much trouble.
The property was perfectly situated within walking distance to anything central. Very clean.

This is a beautiful apartment. Stylishly decorated. Very nice bathroom and kitchen facilities. Located on a quiet side street that was only minutes away from restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.

The Claire apartment was absolutely wonderful. Great location in the center of Baden-Baden and close to everything I wanted to explore. It was very easy to get to from the bus stop, literally a 4-minute walk (I arrived in Baden Baden by train, and the main train station is about 15-minutes by bus from the center). It's a short walk from the beautiful Lichtentaler Allee where I went for a morning run. The host provides very useful and detailed information about everything you could possibly need; places to eat and have coffee, what to explore, and other practical information about the apartment. Check-out is a bit early, at 10:30, I got an extension until 11 but we were able to leave our luggage in the office, also accessible by code. The bed is very comfortable, and the kitchenette has all the basics one might need. Best thing about this was value for money, it's so reasonably priced given all that it offers. I will definitely be coming back here and will plan to stay more than one night to enjoy more of what the city has to offer.

The parking was a bit of a challenge, not knowing the area. But property management replied quickly to email inquiry and we were able to find parking for our big van. Be prepared to carry bags up narrow stairways.
Location was great - right in the heart of the city. The apartments were spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

The whole apartment is on a slight slant which made it hard on our bodies - sitting or sleeping. Water pressure was okay and kitchen could use a simple spatula for pan frying. A note that a tax must be paid which we did so via cash in exact amount that we left on the desk as card wasn't accept and there was no office to go to. Pillows could be much fluffier/firm as my partner had to use the cushion for his head. They're mostly flat and had no support for the neck.
Can't manage the rating - I'd give it an 8.5! Well decorated, excellent location, great airflow & lighting, and very clean! We were within 5-7mins walk to most things including bus, post office and grocery store. Lots of restaurants/bars just down the block. Staff were helpful and responsive and they even delivered extra coffee pods upon request almost immediately. Also, gave tips via messages for hikes and the app/website they created was user-friendly and fantastic to use for recommendations, transport, etc. What a great idea!

Nothing we didn't like.
The apartment (Justine) was perfect. Was even better than in the photos. The living space/bedroom area and the bathroom are really spacious. The location is right in the centre, very close (easy walking distance) to all the beautiful sights of Baden-Baden and the main bus stops. The kitchen is very well equipped. Great host, with good communication and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend, we would stay there again.

The instructions for parking, and finding the keys, were very easy to follow and the keys were readily available upon arrival. Charming apartment in the heart of it all! It was a great location, easily walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. The recommendations on local restaurants and attractions was greatly appreciated and spot on.
