How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

the external shower arrangements are a bit dodgy and it does not seem possible to switch the light off entirely.
while it's really literally a box one sleeps in, its okay especially for the price. didn't expect any thrills and did not get any. Location is very convenient and the bed is okay.

you have to be very very good friends to go to a 2 bed room. The room is super tiny, the shower is directly next to the top bed on the shelf. Interesting solution....
it is good for a 1 night cheap stay, but don't expect anything more from this place

I could hear noise from a bar/club from my bedroom (it was a monday) I did not manage to turn of the light of the main picture.
Comfortable bed and clean room. Tight but well organized.

The staff were very nice and friendly. The environment was so calm and I slept very comfortably. Free coffee and water.

There is a night club very close to the hotel and the staff informed me it opens on Mondays. It was loud, however the staff was understanding and provided another room.
The place and the rooms were as expected. No complaints there.

I like the little distance to the city abd trainstation. We dont use the bus or something.! :) Free hot drinks!

The shower arent private. There is no privacy at all! If i wanted to take a normal full shower i would really suffer. Additionally here is a club just behind the door, and my bed was shaking the entire night. Im not a person who usually complains about noise, however it was a little bit uncomfortable even for me.
The price, solo room which is eventually really nice. Modern design. It also not far away from the train station

The common bathrooms had not doors and the outside door was also not lockable and it’s not maintaining any privacy!
It’s centrally located and less price.

Unfortunately, the showers, although not mixed, were not separated with walls or curtains, meaning one could not have a shower without risking being seen by anyone else who came in to shower. Also, there were too few showers to begin with. But then they compensate by having a sink in each room.
The idea of a box room fascinated me even before arriving there. It has been exceptionally implemented and was one of the coziest hotels I've been to!

Wrong keysafe code received , but we was lucky because a member of member of stuff was still availably at 11pm not coffee available at early morning when I left the hotel before a long journey

Nothing to complain.
Cheap, basic and good. Of course, for that cheap price guests should not expect any luxury. Rooms are very small but still bigger than japanese box hotels. Top location near railway station and old city. In other reviews it was mentioned that there is no privacy. Yes, the 2 showers in male room are open. If somebody else showers, the person can see you naked. But what's the problem with that ? Its gender seperated. There is staff around for check-in and check-in was easy and quick. Fresh coffee at morning. Good wifi

the shower near the rooms didn't work, and there was nowhere to put my clothes in the shower, so that wasn't very comfortable

OObviously, the rooms are a bit small. But, you know that’s why it’s cheap. It could be cleaner. I found the carpet to be dirty in my room. Some of the guests are also a bit sketchy. I had a mentally unwell woman yell at me.
Jannick and the other staff were so courteous and helpful every day. They gave me the time of day and helped me with all my needs. Very good value for money. It’s in the direct center of the City.

The room didn’t feel clean, no privacy in the showers, and the safety could be improved (in the morning there was a drunk person waiting outside and pressuring me to let them in)
Convenient location, good solution for a 1 night stay (in my case I had to catch an early train)
