Mixed feedback regarding comfort of beds (kids sofa wasn’t best, main bed a bit too soft, matter of taste). Staff in the morning didn’t even notice us during breakfast. Speaking of which, breakfast was rather disappointing, quality of food not great (fresh scrambled eggs would be much better than this standing for a long time in the heater). Overall it was a bit too expensive.

Very nice, well maintained, clean place. We liked the combination of old castle and new tech solutions. Responsive staff (via e-mail).

The respectful, courteous and well trained staff —— reception, restaurant, and housekeeping. The location. providing invigorating , pure, fresh air to soothe persons such as myself with an orchestra of predawn birds singing guests into each new day.

I have never felt more welcome at the end of a long journey than I was at this hotel. Nestled in an Altstadt on the site of Bad Arolsen, the hotel is meticulously clean & optimally comfortable. The entire staff demonstrates a hospitality that is, at the same time, consummately professional and genuinely courteous. My 5 day stay in a King suite provided me with the privacy I needed for my work. This is a place for clearing one’s mind, journaling, walking and meeting people from all parts and regions of Germany, and beyond. I give it my highest recommendation.

Spacious, high standard, modern room with pleasant ambiance, view. Quiet countryside location, near small historic village. Excellent for relaxed stopover and visit of Bad Arolsen palace.

Everything is of TOP quality. Linens, furniture, beds, bathroom amenities, breakfast…amazing price/value offering. I would definitely stay here again, and would go out of my way to come to the Brunnenhaus Schloss Landau. Congratulations to the owner for having such a great hotel!

Beautiful hotel in a quiet little town surrounded by gentle hills and fields. I was looking for something close to the Autobahn and Kassel where we were headed the next day. The room was great, bed and sleeper sofa were comfy. Staff was friendly and it was perfect in every way. We also had a great dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet which was included the next morning was phenomenal!

An (indoor) pool would be the cherry on top of an otherwise fantastic hotel.

Plenty of free parking spots were available. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was great. Overall, the hotel was very modern, clean and felt like a high-quality accomodation. The surrounding village of Landau, though, has no grocery stores or restaurants of any kind, so better come by car.

In front of the main entrance (inside or outside) a water bowl for the dogs. The prices for dinner are a bit higher especially for the starters and desserts. Nevertheless, we had a delicious meal. A carafe of tap water would be a good addition, same goes for another vegetarian main course (now you have no choice as a vegetarian).

We were very happy with the hospitality to our accompanying furry friends. There was a basket with pillow and in the bathroom an food and water bowl. With a little snack, which was deliciously eaten. Opposite the main entrance is a lawn for dogs including bags. The trashcan took a while to find but we threw it in the cigarette waste bin next to the main entrance. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The beds were very nice and we slept very well, so comfy. The minibar was included. The electronics are very modern and that took a few minutes to figure out how to operate the lights. But very nice. The breakfast was also includes, it was very extensive and tasted good. We will definitely recommend this location for a relaxt, comfortable stay (with or without dogs).
