How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Would be nice to have a teapot as well, but that's not a big deal..
The room was spacios with a really nice interior. The bathroom was great. The bed is very comfortable. Additional advantages are fridge and a coffee machine with a range of different coffee to choose from.

ONE WORKER CANNOT DO EVERYTHING! THERE IS NOT EVEN A SINGLE WORKER AT THE HOTEL. THESE EUROPEAN PEOPLE THINK THEY INVENTED BUSINESS. YOU HAVE TO GET AT LEAST A SMALL FISH TO CATCH A BIGGER FISH. At 7.00 AM. THERE IS NO HOT WATER IN ROOM 306.

you can hear the cars passing by as the hotel is near the road. Not critical at all, rather FYI

My room was placed at the basement, and near my window there was place for smokers, and that is why I could not open the windows to get fresh air.

Hotel was managed from another Hotel across the street. Therefore it was without any reception or bar service. Outside area was not well maintained.

my room was very cold… it took about 12 hours for the radiator to warm the room. Shower is nice but it leaks a bit because of the way the door is made.

There was no one in reception, you need to go to another hotel across the street to check in and check out. There can be slippers in the room. Wifi was terrible.
The rooms are cute and clean. The coffee machine is good. Like complimentary water. Free parking is an advantage.

no reception area or bar or any breakfast in the actual business and more hotel I got locked out of my room one night and I had to cross the street to the other hotel Tim zeppelin in the middle of the night to try to find someone to unlock my room because the key card didn’t work… And it’s a big road with lots of cars , and it feels a little bit creepy because there’s NO STAFFtherr except cleaning people during morning time….NO STAFF at all inBusiness & More hotel building after hours :NO SECURITY/ NO RECEPTIONIST … & NO WORKING RESTAURANT (breakfast can be had across the street at sister hotel,“ Zum Zeppellin “, and NO BAR/ Essentially there’s no way to see a single other guest if you’re traveling solo unless you happen to see someone go in and out of the room on your floor… So as female solo traveler/ to me that’s not ideal, and I felt VERY ISOLATED . It felt deserted !

Stayed here many times. Shame reception and bar not manned as it’s inconvenient to cross the road to the sister hotel for check in and breakfast.

If I had to pick something (Albeit that it wasn't too much of an issue), the check in at the other hotel over the road.
The rooms were very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was absolutely amazing!

There was mold on the ceiling in the shower in an otherwise modern, comfortable bathroom. Checking in across the street and having breakfast there was a bit odd.
