While the hostel is near central station (8 min walk), the neighbourhood is quite sketchy.

The hostel was modern and clean. Overall, the cabins are pretty sound proof except for the lower cabins in which you can hear the neighbours above walk. Staff was friendly, and the shared spaces were nice!

The surrounding area its as such not a very nice one, hookers, drug dealers, etc. But if you don't disturb them they won't disturb you. It's a capsule hotel, so I would choose it again only if no "normal" hotels in a sane price range are available and I have to overnight in Hamburg centre.

It was my first experience at a capsule hotel, and as such was as expected. Clean, efficient. I chose a "double" capsule even if I was alone to get a bit more space.

The rooms are extremely small. If you have anything more than an overnight bag, you will have trouble in your room. The location of the hotel is great, however the direct street the hotel is on, does not feel welcoming or safe. The rooms were relatively sound proof, however you could feel the opening and closing of doors of neighbouring cabins very clearly.

Everything was modern and nicely decorated. The concept is brilliant and I like the hands-off check in procedures. The beds were very comfy.

Maybe not a very good option for people with limited mobility. Soundproofing wasn't very good, but it was not a problem since everyone there were quiet. But light sleepers will definitely be woken by other quests opening their doors and walking near. Neighborhood was not the nicest but we did not have any bad encounters. A woman traveling alone might not feel safe in the neighborhood after dark.

It was exactly what I expected. Really comfy beds and well thought usage of space.

I only wish that the rooms had a few more hooks. I and my partner are backpack traveling, and since the rooms are so spacious a few more hooks would have gone a long way! Nonetheless, the minor suggestion doesn’t change the fact that this was an amazing accommodation.

All of the staff were more than friendly and helpful! Me and my partner felt very welcomed.

The property is very close to the Central Station (7 minutes of walk) and Hamburg is a walkable city so the location was perfect from that aspect. Only the neighbourhood in general is a bit "dangerous". We didn't have problems, but I am not sure how safe would it be for ladies to walk around later at night. But in these cases there is an Uber or a bus - a bus station just a 2 min walk distance. :) And it says #cabininthehood :)))

Nothing to do with the property at all but it sometimes feels unsafe around the train station area. We weren’t aware of this so maybe other people aren’t. Once you are at the hotel you feel completely safe and at ease.

The property is very modern and clean. The bathrooms were also great with hot showers and plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The check in process was also very easy. It’s perfect for a short stay in Hamburg.

People mentioned on previous reviews that they didn’t feel safe in the area, but I didn’t feel like that as a single female traveller. It’s just like any other main city (London/Berlin/Paris etc) so as long as you keep your wits about you and walk confidently you’ll be fine.

Really close to all modes of public transport. Feels very safe with multiple checked doors before reaching your room so there’s no chance of someone ‘accidentally’ coming to your area. Room is exactly as described, perfect for a place to rest in the main area of Hamburg. As a single traveller I booked a double and that extra space was worth it. Lots of good restaurants/cafes nearby from different cuisine- Indian, Lebanese, Turkish etc.

It's written in the Booking, single cabin with twin bed.. But there are actually only single cabin with single bed or Double cabin with twin bed. It should be corrected on Booking.com!

It was a bit too warm in my pod at night, otherwise the pods are a great idea.

Check-in was easy, staff very friendly and competent, great Café, beautifully designed building - the shower area Design in the basement is a nice touch. Toilets are clean. Great ambience in the whole building.
