It was a bit too warm in my pod at night, otherwise the pods are a great idea.

Check-in was easy, staff very friendly and competent, great Café, beautifully designed building - the shower area Design in the basement is a nice touch. Toilets are clean. Great ambience in the whole building.

The showers are in the basement, so you have to take the elevator and you may encounter people entering the hotel, the area where it is located is quite intimidating as it is close to the bus and train stations.

The room is spacious and private, it has Bluetooth speakers, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff is friendly.

This hotel is one of the best ones I have ever visited. The staff is super nice and lovely, all the facilities are extremely clean and modern. The reception (which is open 24/7) is super helpful, you can even eat breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The bed in the cabin was so comfortable, one of my best sleeps in a long time. 10 out of 10.

Very clean showers and toilets, rooms also very clean and neat. Rooms are very small but we were prepared for that though so it was really nice and interesting experience. In the rooms fresh air is coming constantly from the ventilation and there are bluetooth speakers easy to connect with your phone. Rooftop lounge is great for relaxing with friends and not crowded at all. Staff was also amazing, very helpful and cheerful! Special thanks to Moses who welcomed us as a real host but also to Henning and the rest of the crew, keep up the good work guys!

Dear CAB20 Team, I enjoyed a special and different stay than I was used to so far. I booked a double bed Cabin for me alone and found everything still quite tiny. However I would suggest to adapt hooks on the inside of the door-at least some more possibilities to have some stuff not only being piled up on the bed. Showers, Toilets and all other nice smelling and quite clean. Very much appreciated are the very friendly people around the reception desk! Keep on going behaving like that!

The location is one of its greatest strengths and weaknesses. Walking to/from Main Train Station (Hbf) can sometimes be unpleasant, however because of its closeness to Lange Reihe it is a massive plus. It’s not something they can change, but some dodgy people roam the street where CAB20 is located. Better to walk into St Georg directly or use Lohmühlenstraße Station to get anywhere further.

The cabin bed was very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend this location for shorter stays though. Close to the main train station, but even closer to Lohmühlenstraße Station — trust me, the walk to this station is a lot safer. The showers/bathrooms are normally very well kept. Front desk staff are super friendly and available 24/7. The food and drinks at the main lobby are great. There are two vending machines and a coffee machine on the premises if you don’t feel like asking at Reception. The common area on the 3rd floor is great and the terrace is a great spot for sundowners.

The cabin can become too warm at times. The price of a bottle of water is steep enough and only had small bottles available. The accommodation is located on a dodgy street.

The bed was comfortable. The showering and toileting facilities were very clean. The soundproofing of the cabin was very good. The food available looked good although we didn't get any. The common area is nice and chill. There is a good choice of drinks.

The pods were amazing. Lockable door, automatic lighting on floor, great charging, comfortable bed, privacy… defining as a hostel does not give credit. They had good storage for my bicycle. Genuine 24/7 service and great that could buy breakfast early. Shout out to the staff they were all lovely and especially the guy working Easter Sunday - incredibly kind

The location is unsafe. I recommend walking from Lohmühlenstraße, even if you come from Hbf - take the U-bahn, especially at night.

I liked everything! Modern design, automatic lights everywhere, bracelet access, clean common areas, stylish interior, I didn't expect this place to be so cool. I enjoyed every day of my stay. The chocolate bunnies from the hostel team on Easter Sunday morning were a cute addition to a good impression.

In our first room, something happened with the lights, so it was not possible to turn them off. The staff were definetely helpful, but we had to move to a new room at around 23:00, and it took time away from the only night we had in Hamburg. Sadly, the hotel is in a quite uncomfortable area of the town, at least when you're coming from the train. I was not very comfortable walking there late at night. I do think it's better if you come from the other side.

The facilities are nice and clean, and the staff is very helpful if you need anything. We were able to leave our luggage there on the departure day (for a fee i can't remember, but it wasn't too bad), and self check in and out are definetely nice when you're in a hurry. Only about a 10 minute walk from the train station.

- The bedroom was very warm without any way to adjust ventilation or air conditioning - Lack of clear indication on where to find the shared bathroom (floor -1), not explained at check-in nor indicated in bedroom or on the floor, only in elevator - As the hotel provides a bathrobe, providing a pair of slippers as well would be appreciated. Both walking barefoot in the corridor / elevator and with your shoes in the shared bathroom feel wrong!

The neighbourhood is really bad, otherwise I would have given a much higher rating. There were couple of cases where we saw police dealing with problematic people on our way there and when there was no police, the people hanging around seemed like wanting to have trouble, being loud, drinking and yelling. At one point we decided that going around, the longer way, would be better just so we skip that part of the neighbourhood.

We've been there multiple times and I like that it's a good place to sleep for a day or two, close to the center and the bus/train station. The place is clean (talking mostly about the shared stuff, like the toilets and showers) and it is private, meaning you have your own room with a bed inside (not a hostel).

Google Map led me from HBF main train station through the bigger streets but also feels rough with "sex kinos". It's actually much better to go via Bremer Reihe.

Everything is fantastic. Most importantly is 24/7 hot food & drinks especially convenient if you arrive late. We ordered pizza & burger, both freshly made, tasty, and plus soft drinks, only around €10-12/p.
