The hotel is in a great location across from the Rhine. Our room had a clear view across the river. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location provides easy walk to the cruise ship terminal at Sankt Goar. The room was very clean and the restaurant and breakfast were exceptional.

Nice traditional family run hotel. Very good breakfast (eggs cooked to order also). Breakfast room overlooking the Rhine river. Easy parking just outside the hotel.

Our area where we stayed was extremely noisy, with intoxicated people that kept us awake until midnight. Not an ideal facility for families traveling.

The location is difficult if arriving by train. The evening pizza they offered was not free. That was not explained at all.

The bed needs bringing up to the Modern Age it’s from the 70s my granny has one wooden frame! The mattress well only one word change it!😂 Uncomfortable. Very old German Style but try it you may like it.

Friendly staff, good restaurant if you like schnitzel (pork steak with batter) very nice S M L Medium is enough and small for light eater’s, and for those with a hunger L . Try it! 🍋 cheese if you don’t like mushroom sauce! But there are other variety. The rooms are a bit out dated , looked like Granny’s room, and the mattress needs updating, uncomfortable, Overall it’s certainly worth a over night stop driving or cycling down the Rhine, lovely view of Loreleyblick. You need two days if you want to make a boat trip!

When we arrived, the place was locked up and we had to contact the owner. The web site needs updating because the restaurant was closed and remained so for the duration of our stay. The bar was closed for the duration of our stay, but there was an honesty bar with a small selection of drink, open from 6pm to 10pm. The web site states a .6 of a mile walk into the city centre of Sankt Goar, when infact it is 1.3 miles. To sum things up, after a long drive, all we wanted to do was to sit down, have a drink, and eat a nice meal at the side of the Rhine, and this didn't happen, so our aspirations based on the information on the web site were disappointed.

The view from the hotel was to die for. The Rhine was straight across the road. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of parking spaces in the car park. Staff were very nice and the choices at the breakfast buffet was god.

Keep your windows closed. The trains run all night (no fault of the hotel, of course).

Very nice hotel just across from the Lorelei with a great view of the Rhine. Fantastic breakfast and very accommodating staff. They lent us bikes for the day to ride the path to Bingen and take the ferry back.

The railway line is right behind the hotel and it can be a bit loud if the windows are open.

The location is beautiful as you can see the Loreley rock and the river from the hotel. It is also a great spot to start hikes on either side of the river. The people who run the hotel are very helpful and friendly. There are two adorable dogs who hung around the hotel when we were there. I really enjoyed the stay.

The busy railway line was right next door - but we knew about that in advance!

The staff - especially Helga, who went the extra mile to look after us (especially on my wife’s birthday, which occurred during our stay). The location - opposite the famous ‘Lorreley’ on the River Rhein.

Great location with a perfect view of the rock! Centrally located in the mid Rhine region, one of the most beautiful parts of Germany. Close to the boat cruise.

I arrived late and disturbed another guest thinking they were the owner 😅 my mistake but it worked out well in the end.

I arrived late. The reception was friendly even at 9:30 in the evening. The location simply cannot be beaten. The staff throughout my weekend were very friendly. I couldn’t have asked for better. A plus was how the property was very pet friendly. Im going to stay there again and I’ve already told family and friends this is the place to stay.

1. it was a little warm at night- we were a bit uncomfortable. 2. one of our rooms had no soap in the shower. 3. and at check in we never were told the wifi code- and it’s not always easy to find someone to help. we waited until morning to get access to wifi. and even then- half of us(4 total) couldn’t get onto it anyways:(
