Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsMinor issues... my husband will unfortunately wake up from any TINY noise and the room was situated on the main road. So he could hear the passing cars and as it was weekend, people drove past at a late hour. The other thing was that we could hear slightly the "beat" of the music from the restaurant until it closed. I think our room was above the speaker so we could hear it. Well, my husband heard it more than I did 🙃 but overall, fabulous place to stay !! Don't let it stop anyone else to visit this lovely hotel !!
Lovely, countrytown hotel, very clean room/bathroom with a nice restaurant where we had breakfast. Unfortunately we did not have dinner there because I visited my sister but maybe next time we will. The menu looks inviting ! Staff was also lovely.

United StatesThe hotel is immediately adjacent to a church with bells going off frequently. Note for American travellers; German pillows contain very little filling and provide no support. However, this is not unique to this property.
We rented flat #1 which was a 2nd level apartment with 2 bedrooms. It was in an older building and decorations were minimal; however, the apartment was spacious and clean. Although we did not use it, the apartment included a small washing machine.

United StatesChurch bells ring for a very LONG time at 6AM!!! Very annoying. Floor plan: Living space with sectional sofa at top of stairs is too small for group of four to gather. Beds are quite firm.
Clean. Easy parking and check-in. Well -equipped eat-in kitchen.
