How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only thing that I didn't like and I realise this is a highly personal preference, were the pillows (the typical 80 by 80 cm German pillows that I never understood the appeal of). I usually take my own pillow on trips but this time we were travelling light.
The room is spacious. The bathroom is also big and well ventilated. The breakfast is excellent (you can order warm meals that are made in front of you - we had eggs with bacon and buttermilk pancakes). The sauna is also great (one 60° and one 90°C!). The evening meals at the Gallo Pardo were also very delicious and the atmosphere is great. Overall we were very very happy with the stay! We were thinking of booking a more affordable stay at a smaller venue, but the prices here were very reasonable. For only 25 euro more per person we had so much more comfort than at a simple guest house!

Was sad to leave not spending enough time here.
We booked this as a transit hotel travelling back from Europe. However it exceeded expectations, and as a result, we will be going back.

coldness in the rooms. maybe some carpet on the floor to increase cosiness. pillows very big (I personally prefer smaller ones)
modern design, very clean and nice. excellent options for breakfast, staff is professional and open for any kind of questions. woodland in restaurant is also great option for dinner in the evening.

The location might be a struggle if you don’t have a car and also the WiFi quality wouldn’t be sufficient to work from there all day.
Great food, excellent staff, it was cozy and climatic. A huge kudos for serving breakfasts so early!

There was nothing to dislike, in general the hotel was as described and even was better in real life than in the phots maybe one thing I would them to do to put more kind of foods for breakfast but thats just me :)
The hotel was fancy, the rooms were modern super clean, the staff were super nice and very helpful. I was on a bussiness trip and the location was super close to the center and the my meeting location

Nr of clothes hangers in the cupboards was a too little for 2 people.
Size of the bedroom, good beds, nice bathroom. Lovely and helpful staff. Free parking with 2 electric car charging points. A good breakfast.

This is a great hotel to stay in! It was our first time and we loved it. We’ll certainly be staying here again. We arrived into the hotel in the evening and were greeted by a lovely lady at the reception who was super helpful. Our room was spacious, beautiful and very clean. There was a great selection of food for breakfast. If we were to rate this hotel we’d give 10/10.

A bit outside the city. You benefit from having a car as only one taxi was available at the station.
Nice big room. Quiet. Biergarten on site. Good breakfast. Convenient to ConneKT business area.
