Advertised as having parking but it is actually a nearby public carpark with low clearance that doesn't fit a 9-seater van. Had to find another carpark quite a distance away. Cost €18 overnight.

A bit noisy when people came in at 0130, but not the hotel’s fault. Also, lights on floor 1 were very dim when we checked in, hopefully get brighter as day goes on.

Location was great and directions were spot on. 5-10 walk to about everything one might need.

when asked a question by email before the stay the hotel responded immediately. The hotel were happy to look after our bags until check in time as we arrived early. The hotel is in a good location if arriving by train - half way between the station and the heart of the old town. it's also convenient for heading back towards the station for the garden area. it's alcso very close to the bus station.

We dropped our bags off before we could check-in, and were told to put them in an unlocked room. When we came back, there was no staff in the hotel after 6:30pm. We were still back to check in, but it was odd our bags were unattended and the hotel and room they were in was unlocked.

The hotel was in a great location and was very clean. The staff was very friendly too. Overall, the location, service, and comfort was excellent and we'd recommend staying here when in Bamberg.

The shower was too technical with water from two places that were not coordinated. Small hotel with no staff after 6PM. Probably not practical if you don't like stairs as there are stairs to get in, but a lift inside.

The room with its high ceilings was nice, and ample, but not great size.everything clean and modern, in an old building. easy walking distance to everything.

The three-single-bed room was comfortable and the bathroom and shower were modern and spotless. The location is great, being midway between the station and the old town. The receptionist gave us useful tips on where to eat and drink. Although we didn't take bikes, I noticed it was a bike-friendly hotel.

Kettle/tea making facilities are needed in the room. Instead the hotel tries to charge 1.5Euros per drink from a machine in the lobby - this is inconvenient and frankly poor for a hotel of this price level. No doubt Covid19 is the reason, but rooms cleaned only every 3 days. No hot food at breakfast (C19??) which is 9.5Euros for a cold buffet PLUS a further 1Euro for each boiled egg! Seems like a penny pinching approach.

Comfortable room , and quiet location just a few minutes walk from the best parts of Bamberg. Good shower and bathroom. Bike shed large, secure and very useful. Friendly staff.

We have stayed here years ago and were pleased to see that the quality of this hotel is still maintained. The staff is more than helpful with getting you checked in and the breakfast is great. You can walk to almost everything, but if needed the local buses come a half block away and taxi stands are in front of the hotel.
