Single bed rather small for me. Don't like the square pillows, gives you a crook in the neck.

Very nice traditional hotel in an excellent location. Very good proper German breakfast with lovely coffee. Room spotless. Very friendly and efficient reception staff.

I had a single room which was quite small, but I knew this from the description, so it was not a problem. The desk was a bit small, but once I had removed some items like a folder with information from the hotel etc. it was ok to get some urgent work done on the laptop. One thing that really bothered me was that although the heating was switched off, during my first night it was very hot in the room. I eventually opened the window despite the freezing temperature outside in order to get some sleep, which meant that after some time I woke up as it was getting too cold again... strangely, the problem didn't reappear the second night.

The location was excellent, right in front of the main station and close to a shopping centre with food options, supermarkets etc. I had asked for a quiet room and was given a room away from the street, which was very quiet indeed. Wifi was excellent, reliable and fast. A small but important detail: There were three sockets on the side of the desk, so no problem charging laptop, phone and something else at the same time (often a problem in other hotels). The breakfast buffet was very nice and open until quite late. The minibar was equipped with a bottle of beer, a small bottle of juice, two small bottles of water, and peanuts/crackers, for free (refilled daily). I appreciated that nice gesture. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

The bed size was very small; actually, we can not call it a bed.

The location and staff are excellent. Also, the breakfast was very good. by facing the central train station you have access to all transport facilities within a minute.

Seem to remember the shower was a bit old school. Single beds are fairly thin. Nothing to worry about though.

Perfect location in Hanover - opposite the station and a few yards away from the main shopping area, Xmas markets, plenty of restaurants/bars etc. The complimentary mini-bar was a nice touch also (although it was hardly overflowing with things to eat!)

I was on the fourth floor and the lift was out of order for my entire 5 night stay. Luckily I’m able to climb stairs. However, I saw a number of guests really struggling. Not good enough.

Next to the train station so easy to travel to the Messe, where I was working during my stay.

The bathroom was quite compact so climbing out of the (over the bath) shower was a little bit of an effort!

Very central location but nice and quiet in the room. Comfortable bed and good en-suite. Helpful staff and nice bar/cafe next to the foyer. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the minibar.

Not very quiet area: one could hear people shouting in the street at 4am. The room was a bit small, totally ok for one person, but for 2 people it would have been too tight.

Difficult (sometimes impossible) for disabled to access downstairs restaurant and bar areas. Very noisy surroundings (but that is not their fault)

only drawback was that there was no air conditioning, which was really needed with the temperatures up in the 30’s, although they did provide a fan which helped a little.

The room did not have air conditioning. So in the hot days of August 22, we had to sleep with the windows open. The hotel said they were fitting ait conditioning to all of the rooms, so this may not be an issue in 2023.

The Kaiserhof Hotel was located in the centre of the city. It was only a few minutes walk from the old centre and the historic buildings that have been restored. It was near the main shopping area with restaurants, cafes and bars. The main railway station was across the square. The staff were friendly, efficient and competent. They printed out the boarding passes for our flight out of Hannover. Since we booked a suite, our room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. One notable feature was the free minibar containing beer, soft drinks, water and nuts. This was replenished, free, every day. The breakfast buffet was very good with the staff being friendly and helpful. Freshly cooked dishes were available from an extensive menu. Evening meals were served in the large restaurant or in outdoor seating on the main square. The standard of the food was very good.
