Coffee making facilities would have been nice in the absence of a vending machine

The basic room was a bit small, it means the next time for me it's better to take a bigger one :)

The hotel is really nice and cozy. The staff is friendly, the room was clean and nice. The cafe where you have breakfast is good and the food is tasty (coffee is great).

That the bathroom was separated from the room. Also, it would have been possible to access my room through the window.

The athmosphere was different to other hotels - more individual and with character, less sterile and not like mass production.

It is right across the street from a grocery store, which is convenient. However, there are deliveries all night long so it can get a little noisy. It is in a great location in the Belgian Quarter; however, this is a livelier area, so it can be noisy late into the night on weekends.

The airconditioning did not work; as a European I do not mind, but in summer it gets really warm under the roof.

Cologn'e Chelsea Hotel is legendary and they know it. I was lucky enough to have booked one of the suites and they put me into the Kippenberger Suite which has its private roof terrace. The architecture is playful, intelligent and aesthetically pleasing.

Water in the shower was often switching from hot to cold to hot, it was uncomfortable especially cuz when it was hot, it was scalding hot. The bathroom can use a few more hooks to hang the towels. The one they had by the sink fell off when I hang a towel on it. Also, it would have been nice to have black out curtains on all the windows, but one window didn't have it, so it would get very brights in the mornings.

Had a room on the fourth floor with a balcony, it was wonderful, calm intersection made for a nice relaxing view and breakfasts on the balcony. Highlight of the stay! + mini fridge is a must when staying for a few days and can store some food, Fridge, Tea and Coffee maker and the balcony were all the reasons I booked the room in the first place. But the beds were firm and very comfortable in my opinion. The room was spacious and cozy.

The parking is a problem in all Koln. Parking in the streets is 1 euros x 15 minutes!!! That it not a problem of the hotel... but we need to think before consider top be central in the cituies.

Really well situated and the price was good that weekend. The hotel is perfect for a short stay so I will repeat it for sure. Also it,s very clean and the room is quite big.

I couldn't find a power outlet near the bed. Also the internet was not really working well in my room.

This was not my first stay at the Chelsea. I love the location, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and they have interesting rooms (I stayed on the top floor). The balcony is definitely a plus.

Region is a bit noisy because of bars and restaurants around. But, at the same, this is one of the attractions of the place. :)

A pretty big downside was that you have to insert your room key into the outlet for the lights and outlets to work, so you can't charge anything inside your room when you're not there. I was there to do photoshoots and I could only charge my stuff overnight when I was actually IN the room. Since I had three batteries to charge, I had to set my alarm to change them. Would have been nice to be able to charge my batteries and laptop during the day when I was out and about. Also the room was pretty hot. Air conditioning would have made this stay perfect.

I definitely liked the room, it was clean and had a mini bar as well which I did not expect, so that was a nice surprise. There was a large window that opened all the way (nice for fresh air) and good roll-down blinds to block out sound and light. I slept very well here. Also the shared shower (I had a room with a shared shower) was amazing! Very spacious, clean and had a rain showerhead. Definitely recommend staying here. Also LOVED the late checkout!

Street noise at night is a teething problem but one can get round it with some good ear plugs if sensitive to noise.

The location is ideal and easily accessible in the vibrant city of Cologne. Check in and check out went smoothly and a friendly service 😊. Good size suites with a view.
