How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No available parking near the hotel as it is in the pedestrian area. Parking only in time-limited areas, parking lots which charges for stay or parking garage.
Very close to the center of town and still quiet. Clean rooms and good breakfast.

The hotel is still in the process of refurbishment, which can be seen in some places. Where the works have been finished, it does look modern and welcoming.
The comprehensive breakfast buffet, the uncomplicated online check-in.

The room and building was much older than I expected according to the pictures. The room was very dark and I would say more old fashioned. Definitely not as good as picture show

This place advertises itself as a hotel, but in fact, this is only a kind of room rental without a lobby, office, or hotel desk where you can check in, discuss anything, or get help. No staff is available on site. There is no single human being in this building, at least if you are coming at 7 or leaving at 6. No support during check-in or check-out (you only get information "read an email," and that's all the help you get). The single room was dark and small; it was equipped only with a small roof window. No invoice was given after check-out (to be received while checking out, but there was no staff available, and the only reply you have is about reading an email). To summarize, I don't recommend you stay.

The room was a but cold even though we turned on the heating as soon as we arrived.

Nice, pleasant, and helpful staff. I love online check-in and keyless entry to the hotel and all rooms. Amazing breakfast, always fresh and delicious. All clean and tidy. Thumbs up to hotel management.

Be careful. You don’t pay for the room but per person. Even if you book the family room, 4 beds, you pay for 4 people Don’t get fooled. It was so awful, since rooms are very small with no air condition. Crazy price for a family in such a small space.

We booked a room for 4 people: two adults and two kids. We got a really, really small room with 3 beds. The number of beds was not a problem (we were aware of this). We managed to fit. But having 4 people in a very small room was unacceptable. It was claustrophobic with half-sized windows only in the upper wall. Of course there was nobody around to ask.
Breakfast was very good and tasty in the nice environment. A lot of space, good coffee and a rich choose for the food.

There was a wedding party which went on till 02:00 am. If we knew this before we wouldn't come. Really load in the room. Also dirty bed sheets (read blood stains), which where replaced after an endless discussion on WhatsApp where they suggested to change it in te morning. Room was not that clean in general.
Location was in a nice street.

Check inn was very complicated. Room with no view and no facilities. Breakfast could be ok, but we had a group before us who were really hungry and therefore there was a very limited choice.
