We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandThis place advertises itself as a hotel, but in fact, this is only a kind of room rental without a lobby, office, or hotel desk where you can check in, discuss anything, or get help. No staff is available on site. There is no single human being in this building, at least if you are coming at 7 or leaving at 6. No support during check-in or check-out (you only get information "read an email," and that's all the help you get). The single room was dark and small; it was equipped only with a small roof window. No invoice was given after check-out (to be received while checking out, but there was no staff available, and the only reply you have is about reading an email). To summarize, I don't recommend you stay.

PolandWe booked a room for 4 people: two adults and two kids. We got a really, really small room with 3 beds. The number of beds was not a problem (we were aware of this). We managed to fit. But having 4 people in a very small room was unacceptable. It was claustrophobic with half-sized windows only in the upper wall. Of course there was nobody around to ask.
Breakfast was very good and tasty in the nice environment. A lot of space, good coffee and a rich choose for the food.

NetherlandsThere was a wedding party which went on till 02:00 am. If we knew this before we wouldn't come. Really load in the room. Also dirty bed sheets (read blood stains), which where replaced after an endless discussion on WhatsApp where they suggested to change it in te morning. Room was not that clean in general.
