Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe interior seems a little mis-matched, but still very inviting. There is no bin in the toilets unlike in the bathroom.
Herr Dominik Schindel, the receptionist at the time we met upon our arrival, has been very friendly, patient, informative and accommodating - all-round nice person to meet, especially for the first time staying at the hotel. The parking garage was an experience, because the vehicle is going down in a lift. We were very fortunate, that we were offered a space. Breakfast was fine. Upon request, they provided me with gluten-free bread! The location is fantastic! Walking to the Hofbräuhaus - the most favourite tavern in the world (!) - is only 5 minutes "around the corner", and probably 8-10 minutes from Marienplatz. The location is definitely a great selling point, indeed.

CanadaPretty easy to get to via the Train--ended up taking the S8 from Munich Airport (MUC)--about 40-50 minutes or so but gets you pretty close. It's a short walk from there--pretty quiet street and you can walk to Marienplatz in 5-10 minutes (Hofbräuhaus is literally just around the corner). You might need a bigger room if you're travelling as a pair (I got a Standard Twin) Being stuck with English wasn't a problem at all--the hotel staff were all incredibly friendly/very accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again (probably in a larger room though!)

United StatesOne struggle we had was with the wifi connection, it was very slow in our room and I couldn’t load many websites on mobile browser. I also don’t like the modern shower doors/wall that cover half the length of the bathtub, so there is always a small flood afterwards - but we had plenty of towels. FYI - upon checkin they explained that if you don’t need the room cleaned, to put the environmental door tag, but they still came to pick up trash with that - that surprised me.
This hotel is a wonderful combination of clean and renovated rooms, amazing location in the heart of central Munich, excellent staff and delicious European style breakfast. I highly recommend it for an all around great stay for a very reasonable price.

CanadaI realize it’s an old bldg but was difficult to get to your room once exiting the elevator. Still had 2 flights of stairs to manoeuvre to get to your room. Room was disappointingly small for a “superior” room. Shower was like a small broom closet and didn’t close at bottom so flooded room!
Location was excellent. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent with good variety and efficient staff.

TurkeyVery closed to the city center, i.e. Marienplatz. Next to the Maximillian street where the luxury brands have showrooms; Armani, Dior, Gucci ... etc. A very nice Italian restaurant with good vines and food next to it.

PolandWeak wi-fi. When we didn’t use the AC or kept the window closed it was getting quite warm in the room.
Very good breakfast. The hotel is close to many interesting places worth visiting. There was an option to resign from daily cleaning and the hotel would donate it’s cost to some local eco-organization.

United StatesWe only had two complaints. The WiFi was unusually weak. It worked for emails, but not well for photos. And the rooms and bathroom were very small. Like really tight. They have done the best they can organizing the room with a few wall shelves and lamps to make efficient use of the space, but it’s really tight, even by European and major city standards. But it was all very clean and neat, likely refurbished not too long ago.
The location is excellent, just two blocks east of the activity near Hofbrauhaus. It’s a long walk from the main train station, but most of the main tourist sites are nearby and walkable for many people. We walked nearly everywhere although it was a long walk to the museum district, so use the trams. The property and room was very clean and neat. The breakfast was good and a bargain. The staff at both the front desk and breakfast were very good. There are certainly other higher end hotels but the value was very good for this price at Concorde. I would stay here again.

United KingdomEasy to get to on public transport from Munich International airport. Hotel is on a back street in the old town which means it’s away from the crowds. The rooms were perfect and clean and really comfortable. The location was ideal and you could get around walking the hotel is literally 5 mins from Marienplatz. There are many restaurants close by and bars and if you want to access public transpiration it’s easy to get to this from the hotel. Receptionist/staff were very friendly, helpful and approachable.
