How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was really warm, but the working A/C solved it :)
Location is perfect, less than 5 mins from Hauptbahnhof, but it wasn't loud. The small balcony was perfect, the shower had a great view of the sky. Breakfast was really complete and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I guess the small variety of options during breakfast is my main complaint. You can still enjoy it though. Also, if you rely on elevators, you might have to wait longer than usual, cause at certain times of the day it gets quite busy. I mainly used the stairs, so that was ok.
The hotel is well located, you can do many things by foot and what it offers is good enough. I think our stay had nothing really special, but it was far from being a bad experience. I recommend the place.

Room was compact and bathroom very small. Room heating quite warm.
Great location near city centre and train station. Excellent breakfast with lots of variety. Room nothing fantastic but it worked OK for us.

No fan in the room.
Perfect for an overnight stay if you’re on a budget. Only a 5 min walk from the train station and U-bahn. Bed was super comfortable, very friendly staff and good breakfast included.

There is nothing. Everything was great!
Breakfast was great! Very convenient too before went on my tours. The hotel held my luggage after check out for no cost which helped me because I had a tour & was able to grab my luggage before heading to train station.

The bed was bad and overall it was like a hotel which has been left for many years without any renovation.
The location was excellent, near the Hbf and the historical center of the city.

The room cleanliness left much to be desired, as it appeared dusty and we even discovered gum on the pillow. The staff’s demeanor upon our arrival was less than welcoming. There was ongoing noisy reconstruction work near our room.
The location was excellent, conveniently situated near both the central station and the city center. The breakfast offered was nice, and the price was quite reasonable when compared to other hotels in the same neighborhood.

the TV was limited to a very select few channels in German language only. Would’ve been nice to have a bit more variety but really can’t complain about much else!
The breakfast in the morning was delicious, lots of variety and comfortable beds with good amount of room.

The very disrespectful noisy group of young people who checked in at 11:00ish on our first night. Thankfully after half an hour or so of loud running, banging and yelling someone redirected them and they quietened.
The staff on check in were super helpful by letting us check into one of the ready rooms early. They were also very friendly and accommodating about looking after our bags after we checked out. The room with breakfast included also seemed good value considering the location.

Very close to city centre.Breakfast was excellent plenty fresh bread meat cheese fruit eggs . Everything you need to set you up for the day .Room was small but had everything bed comfortable.

The room is okay but could be a bit cleaner, probably not recommended if you’re someone who‘s sensitive to dust.
The location was near the Hauptbahnhof which is very convenient if you’re planning to travel a lot from Munich. There‘s an included breakfast buffet. The price, combined with the facilities and location, was a great deal compared with some of the options in the same area.

My room was tidy and with a large balcony and a desk. Breakfast was very good, for those who have lactose intolerance, they also provide a lactose-free milk and yogurt.
