The bathroom was a glass box in the room! It had a mixture of modesty and clear glass. When showering, you were 2ft from the bed, looking at your partner, which was very weird.

Friendly & helpful staff, only 10 minutes walk to central areas, lots of bars & restaurants nearby, free bus pass included with stay at hotel. Decent breakfast.

Would have been nice to have more vegan breakfast options like vegan yoghurt, vegan bread spreads etc and all items should be labelled if they’re vegan (like bread, jam etc) but I asked the staff and they answered all my questions and provided oat milk.

The only thing I didn't like was that I could hear all the noises made by the occupants of the neighboring room because we were only separated by a door.

The location of the hotel is magnificent, it is close to the old part of town. The room was clean and you can perceive that they are well maintained, everything works as it should. The service is excellent, the staff very friendly and willing to help with any recommendations or questions.

TV had remote control with Netflix/Youtube function but it was not working.

Breakfast was great, eggs and sausages were better than in most hotels. Rooms are spotless, minibar prices very reasonable. Parking provided for 15e per day right behind the hotel. Location is great for visiting city.

It would be good if the hotel has some English news channels.

The reception staff were very friendly especially Thueba and Ensaf and could speak English well. The property is walkable to the Old Town and the Marina of Konstanz in the side of the Old Town where there was fireworks on New Years Eve. The fireworks were wonderful started at midnight of New Years Eve and very easy to locate. The receptionist told us that the hotel has a terrace on the top floor from which to watch the fireworks although we walked to the Marina to watch it. The property is also near restaurants and supermarket.

The self check-in did not work upon arrival. The manager was helpful and came to the property at night to check us in himself. The rooms were spacious, but there were little problems. The kettle was dirty upon arrival and it took us calling the reception after a day for them to change it. Even then, they would not bring it up themselves, we had to go down and get it. Lastly and most importantly, the breakfast was very bleak. Not many choices, and the finished hot dishes would not get replenished. The value for money was not there.

Limited (paid but.a reasonable €11) parking at the hotel, although we did arrive late, so best have a back-up plan, although other parking well enough posted on the way into town. Managed to get parked the second day when guests were checking out in the morning. A bit tricky, in particular when driving a large hire car on the wrong side…

Good sized room. Clean and bright. Quiet despite being right next to street. Staff helpful. Right next to old town and a short walk to the passenger ferry to Meersburg, which takes 20 minutes from Konstantz harbour, without having to make your way to Staad. Breakfast spot on, with good variety and plenty of pastries. Fried eggs always a bonus, even if overdone. Konstantz great for a couple of nights, with a good mix of old town, shops, bars and restaurants, with plenty of places to visit around the lake, in particular Meersburg and its old castle.

Because it's an old property (though recently renovated) the rooms are somewhat small and wall outlets in confusing places.

Modern rooms and family friendly hotel. Great breakfast. Also nice to have air conditioning, especially with a baby.

Glass doors on bathrooms. Top of second floor staircase had a down slope, puts one off balance when heading down stairs.

Car park is great, but crowded and we only just managed to get a space - and then they charge for it !! A better managed car park that you could reserve would be a big improvement

Nice location, within walking distance of the lake and other sights. Lots of nearby restaurants. Staff were all friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.

Older building with newly renovated rooms - the bathroom is basically in your bedroom. Fine if you know your traveling companion really, really well. Very creaky and loud between floors - could hear people above and below all night.

Air conditioning in room on a motion sensor and room very hot in roof so room maintained a mere 26 degrees.
