We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

LuxembourgThere is unfortunately much to complain about in this hotel. We had the feeling that it was all about marketing and that the guests did not count. We had booked a junior suite with a garden view, but actually the view was towards an apartment house ( please be honest and state that) The suite was very dark, the bed linen was never changed during our 4 nights, which is totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. At the end, it looked like a flea box as the sheets were all crumpled up…. The hotel provided us with 1 bottle of water ( complimentary) for the 4 days which is a joke. The hotel had written us an e- mail that if we did not book one of the restaurants in advance, we could end up with no table. Eventually, we noted that there was plenty of availability for 3 out of the 4 evenings. The only evening that we had not booked was the busy one ( saturday). When we asked at the reception for a booking at James Farmhouse, we were told that the computer is showing ‘’ full’’ and that we should go to the restaurant ourselves and ask there instead. That is what we did and we obtained a table without any problem. So far for the guest service….. We do not recommend the Caesar salad which tasted like in a US fast food…. However, the cherry on the cake was ‘’Das Grace’’, although the food was excellent, the service was something else….I completely agree with one of the reviews stating that the behaviour of the waitresses was ‘’ too much’’. We would call that an ‘uppity behaviour that was perceived as unpleasant’. All in all a bad experience for such high expectations. What a pity!!!

DenmarkThe staff at the bar 'The Lion' was not service minded - we ended up sitting without drinks for approx. 30mins. After finishing our round of drinks, we waited 5-10mins - nobody came to ask if we were good or wanted something more. Then for like 15-20mins we were trying to make discrete contact with the waiters going around the bar - nobody as much as looked at us. Also, we noticed other tables getting a small snack served with their drinks. Even though we were there for several hours and ordered several rounds of drinks, we didn't get any. Very unfortunately experience, as the staff in general as so excellent. But this was not the case at The Lion for drinks that night. Also, car parking was not included in the stay. For the price of the stay, I do not understand that this is something you need be charged extra 15 euros a day for. This is the justification for scoring value for money a bit lower.
Excellent and service minded staff in general. The rooms were spacious, nice and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The Spa was also great and both pools indoor and outdoor and Saunas. Location of the hotel is with a view of the fjord so that is also perfect. Absolutely amazing food. The breakfast is amazing, there is anything you can wish for. We tried some of different restaurants and were very pleased with all the food and wine in general. In all, almost a perfect stay!

United StatesThe “small” room we booked was still spacious and lovely, only had one design quirk of part of skylight/windows had no covering or shade, so we had to really improvise to block light.
Everything was great as we splurged for a night after a long day cycle touring. The roof pool, staff, and room quality were all excellent and hotel has great character. Fantastic breakfast. Great bicycle parking in the hotel too!
