Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyOnly hospital beds should have wheels, I found the beds really uncomfortable, the beds kept moving because they had wheels, and the wheels don’t have stoppers. Placement of the television is ridiculous, it’s so high almost reaching the ceiling.

GermanyEven though the furniture in room and bathroom seemed to be new, cupboard was extremely primitive and damaged. Bathroom of room no 23 had a horrible smell. Price was due to a fair in nearby Cologne too high.
Room was quite clean (very good: the room had no carpet but laminate floor), bathroom as well. Corridor seemed to be in a state of construction. No staff, check-in by machine.

AlbaniaThe staff does not respond. The curtain was half fallen down and I informed them, they did nothing to repair it. I had to stay for 9 nights in a claustrophobic room with the curtain in a very bad shape and taking care not to be seen from the road. The hot water needs some minutes to come, just don't give up.
The location is very good. Also the badroom is ok.

New ZealandThere was no air-conditioning. I was expe ting a kettle, cups & simple cutlery but nothing was available. Our friends were in another apartment and left early in the morning as their apartment was super hot. They had a microwave, kettle & cups so we shared the facilities.
Great apartment that had a kitchen sink & cupboards but nothing else. No cups, no kettle, no cutlery etc. This was dissappinting as it was advertised as having these.

BelgiumI get why there is no reception is to lower further the cost, but it is hard to get help when needed. Also, the room we got was close to the street and it can be noisy sometimes since the windows dont seem to be noise proof.
It is centrally located. It is also cheap. Very straight forward. I also like that there is microwave and cutlery in the room.

United KingdomThe only issue was the buidling works that were going on in the hallway downstairs. When I arrived the hallway was a mess and looked a little unsafe with a piece of plasterboard propping up a door and wires trailing down the stairs. No noise in the evening though, and I was out all day, so didn't bother me.
Fantastic location, right in the heart of Bonn, with lovely restaurants, bars and cafes on the street outside, and the old town just a few minutes walk. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet at night, despite being on a busy street (my room didn't overlook the street). The room was well supplied with a small wardrobe, kettle, fridge and microwave. Also, great value as the chepest place I could find in both Bonn and Cologne.

IrelandEverything was white from stairs corridor to the room. Seemed it lack a bit of character and because it was thru a machine to self-check in, it seemed the building everything was plain. But yes comfortable we must say.

GermanyThis has been the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel. I arrived and was not able to check into one of the rooms I booked using the front kiosk. I called the two numbers provided and neither of them were connected. I emailed the hotel and informed them that I could not check into my room. They responded saying that they believe I had checked in according to the records (I still had no key). I emailed them back explaining that I, in fact, was not able to check in and needed a key. They did not get back to me until the next morning and explained how to fix the issue. They took responsibility for the issue and informed me that they would reimburse me for the first night (since I could not check in that night and had to find somewhere else to stay). About a month later I saw that not only did they NOT reimburse me, but they charged me an EXTRA night. I contacted them multiple times through booking.com and email to explain that there was an issue, and they never responded to me. After 2 months and multiple messages to this hotel, I have still not gotten a response.
The location was centrally located. But the location is not worth the hassle.
