This time, we were given a room next to the busy road and had poor sleep

We have stayed here regularly and always been very satisfied by the facilities and the convenience.

We had asked for connecting rooms. The connecting room door was closed and the key the staff had didn’t work on the door. After waiting over an hour, and after trying several keys on a large key chain on 4 different floors, the staff found a room that he was able to open the connecting door of rooms on a different floor. The staff member persevered and saved the date. But management had not left any resources or support for the staff member to contact to find the right key. It was all his own initiative and perseverance that he was able to sold our problem and find a functioning connecting room.

Check-in always takes a long time, even if you are a repeat guest. Could work on improving that system. Also check-out or rather receiving invoice - could automate this as well. It would be nice to have amenities in the bathroom - some body lotion, etc.

Beds are comfortable. Shower is good. Bottle of water is provided in the room.

Slow to check-in as only 1 staff member on arrival and a few people ahead of us.

Nice clean room and bathroom, good beds, quiet despite proximity to road/airport. Close to airport on U-tram 5 minute walk away.

As a fitness guy I was so disappointed when I noticed there were no almonds or walnuts in breakfast room. Essential by Dorint Stuttgart/Airport keeps sending messages on your Booking account writing in German only.

I liked the flexibilty hotel had to accomodate almost every request I had (bodyweight scale apart). I liked the location where hotel was so close to metro (10min by walking) or to the train station (5mins by walking). I chose Dorint Stuttgart hotel 'cause I had to go to ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart every day. Those locations are really close thanks to public services I've spoken above. Essential by Dorint Stuttgart/Airport was an awesome accomodation 'cause I could have booked it in advance without paying money as soon as my booking was confirmed. I payed my staying at the reception. Price was okay but a little bit expensive oriented.

The plug sockets on either side of the bed were not working properly, and my adapter would not stay fixed in the holes.

Parking fee is absolutely too expensive!!! It's the hotel garage for about 20EUR a night. Why so much?!? I found free parking around the corner by the REWE -- check there first before paying such an outrageous fee.

We had a handicapped bathroom, which was great for my Mom (broken leg/wheelchair). It had a handicapped shower and toilet. The hotel is modern and breakfast was great! They even let us eat a bit later as Mom needed some extra time.

This is not about the hotel but it would have been nice if there were more restaurant options nearby. The Indian place nearby seemed overpriced to me.

For a hotel offering only the "essentials" I was very pleased, especially the breakfast.

Unfortunately there is no alternative to using the Park Garage and paying €19 for the few hours that one is in the hotel. Guests are forced to pay the fee or walk long distances or risk penalties. Not a fair option....

Room was nice and exactly what you need if you just want to use it to sleep. Staff was very friendly and check-in was easy even though it was late. Breakfast was quite standard but not bad. Location is good if you need to be near the airport the next day.
