Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Restaurant was close on a Thursday. Receptionist did not give us enough information such as the campground had a restaurant. Which by the way, it was very good.

The hotel is located at the entrance to the city and quite difficult to reach the center on foot. They didn't have an iron. Value for money rather high.

Very near to Autobahn, without any disturbance from traffic. Large, comfortable an clean rooms. Private, free parking. Restaurant very good and cozy. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The room did not seem to have its own heat. Also, for check-in, it was not communicated with me ahead if time that my key would be in a box waiting for me amd that there would not be anyone there to check me in. Not a problem if I would have known ahead of time.
Room was a good size and parking was available. Checkout was also easy.

Watch out! Lies in the listing! No bath in any of the rooms, no baby cots available at all, no family rooms. Extremely unhelpful staff. We got stuck with two babies that had no place to sleep despite the promises in the website. They ended up almost injured when falling from the sofa bed and slipping in the shower. If that wasn't enough, the lift was broken and we had to carry everything up in the stairs. Definitely not a place to come with children! Would not recommend it even for adults.
It's basic and clean. Easy parking.

We were expecting charging station for our plugin car. There was none. This was the main reason we chose this hotel. Room is very spartan, not modern and the heaters dont work. It was a bit chilly. The price does not reflect the conditions. We paid less than € 162.90 in other 3 stars hotels with higher confort standards. But the most annoying things were the fact that we arrived from Italy around 21:00 hrs, and the hotel front door was locked. And no front bell, no notification, nothing. Everything is in german, nothing in english... for foreign travelers. After calling their phone for 10 min, eventually a nice old man opened for us and checked us in. But... he locked again the hotel front door. Very annoying for a guest that needs to get things from his car... when he wants or needs.
Clean room and very clean bathroom. Breakfast was good. Location is good.

I did experience some of the staff seemed not so happy which made the welcoming could have been better. Giving answers to questions also seemed to be a hard deal. Never show a customer you're irritated, stressed or not enjoying your job, otherwise let someone else do the work, would be my advise:).
Nice room and great location for passing through to Italy. Nice area, in 20min walk there is a nice lake for a swim. Terrace outside also great.

The owner of the hotel was horrible. We had to stay at his hotel because our car broke down. We made a reservation 30 minutes before arriving but he was mad because he did not see in his system that we made the reservation, 5 minutes later he saw the reservation and only then he calmed down (but up untill that point he did not want to help us eventhough there were many empty rooms). Then he apologised and was very friendly in the morning but then when we wanted to check out he got angry again just because he said we did not yet pay but we wanted to check to make sure that booking.com did not charge our credit card (we wanted to check because he clearly is not good with computers) but he yelled at us because he ‘should not have to beg us for his money’ while we were just calmly checking our phones. Which is very sad because the rooms were very clean and all other staff was very friendly. Maybe the owner had a bad day but screaming to customers that were friendly and calm the whole time should not be okay. And I also can not see any other bad reviews so maybe the man is not always there.
