More feedback than criticisms but a black out blind for windows would have made it better as the curtains didn't cover window completely and let alot of light in. The pillows are horrible and provide no support for head or neck. The staff were quick to provide me with an extra one though. The room was super hot on the first night. If staying here in warmer weather, a fan would be important for general comfort. If I were on the landside I think my score would be considerably different but fortunately had a waterside room.

Great location, friendly staff, good value for money, late check in was okay, love the whole concept of having a hotel on a boat, plenty of seating available to just chill.

A very pleasant and well located floating hostel close to Ost Bahnhof. I've stayed here before and found it very friendly and useful. Despite the lively area I've not been bothered by noise even with the window open (generally needed as for me its always quite warm on board). Shared facilities always seem clean and well equipped. Rooms are basic but spacious and beds comfortable. Very handy if you are just passing through for a night, if I was staying longer I'd probably upgrade to the hotel sister ship next door.

I was unlucky that I had a couple of guests very noisy in the night , my room was next to the terrace and they were getting drunk there. But this depends more on people...

Room was looking out over River, which truly delighted the kids. Up on deck we could chill out put on sunscreen before travelling into the busy city. Clever designs of cabin allowed optimal use of space.

Staying on a boat was definitely quirky and the location was excellent. Helpful staff and easy to get to and fro on public transport. Great location. I imagine in summer it could be noisy, but in cool April it was too cold for people to hang about outdoors for long!

Insufficient curtains in the rooms facing the street. People walking on the sidewalk had no trouble looking into the room because the curtains were without sidetracks to keep them in place and cover the entire width of the window.

The cleanliness was outstanding. Free filter coffee ad libitum in the morning. Wonderful view from the boat terrace! Very comfortable beds.

I was in the east ship (I think). Compared to the bigger side, it was quite dated, no water on the same floor, no cups in room, no locks on shared bathroom, bathroom not that clean and shower heads falling off. It's definitely more like a hostel, but also a great place to stay. Also they need something to cover the porthole window as the light coming in was disruptive at night. Bring your earplugs as it's noisey being a metal ship.

Comfy bed, lovely helpful staff, coffee in the morning, being on a boat was cool. Room was fine, superb location. I would book again for sure.

Something not to fix, just a note to the other sound-sensitive travelers: While the immediate surroundings of the ships as much as the indoors were pretty calm at the time of my visit, the bridge has a frequent U-bahn traffic as well as the ambulance cars passing in the night - the noise gets in even with the closed windows. Ship walls can be thinner than in the regular buildings. This is to be expected. So bring the ear-plugs. Otherwise just suggestions: Bigger cups for the morning teas (maybe a bit more tea variety?). The first entry to reception may be confusing (without having the PIN code yet). Two sockets in the room may be not enough for some bigger groups. Extra blankets ready. Price ... it's Berlin 2024, I know. ;) But taking even the European salaries into account, price/value is still to be considered, even if this seemed to be one of the cheaper accommodations in Berlin.

Quite an accessible location transport-wise (10mins walk to Warschauer st. or Schlesisches Tor U-bahn), wonderful views from the water-side room (including the Oberbaumbrücke), otherwise just in front of The Wall gallery. Convenient access to supermarkets across the street, food stands etc. Living on the water has an extra calming effect within the metropolis. The ship is "vintage" in some sense (I usually like that retro vibe), but it did not feel shabby or dirty. Windows, floor, locks, beds - all good. Rooms were simple, but cozy. Slightly cold-ish some mornings, but easily fixed with an extra blanket. With just one person in a room, there was sufficient space for luggage and stuff (the other beds). It did not feel claustrophobic - although this was mostly my sleeping space. Shading of the French windows perfectly sufficient. The lights adequate but not unpleasantly cold/white. Two electricity sockets. There was no kettle in the room, but the tea/coffee service was covered for free in the mornings on the first ship (with reception desk). Bring your own stuff if you need specialties. Lovely little terrace on the backside of the ship, with quite romantic views. The toilets and bathrooms were basic, like on the boat, but always clean, soap and paper always available, with hot showers (a bit of waiting time) any time of the day. I did not have to queue even once or ask for anything. Looking at the sign posts, the staff welcomes any suggestions. The place was quiet in the nights, with quite reasonable silent hours policy. This was a slightly chilly April, so not much noise was coming from the bank-side, even if there is a popular sitting space and a club in the vicinity. I liked the interactions with the staff, who have already a good routine of explaining the important bits concisely, while still friendly - not just servile. I actually felt welcome. Plus point. The place felt secure enough - keys, plus two pin-code protected outside doors.
