the hotel is not very clean, during breakfast I needed to go through 6 plates from the stack to find a clean one. bathroom in the room was also run down and needs to be updated and cleaned properly. the staff was not very attentive as well, upon coming to breakfast on 9:55 I was told to get out as the breakfast finishes at 10:00 even though everything was still out and I could have at least made myself a sandwich to go.

The economy double Room was far too small for 2 people. Would have been OK for single occupancy. Barely enough room for 2 people to stand up by the bed without getting in each others way. In order to get into bed one person had to climb over the other. Not possible to walk round the bed. No hot drinks available at the hotel apart from at breakfast. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. Not sure this is a 4 star hotel. Overpriced and over rated.

The Room was clean. TV, WIFI worked well. Bathroom fine and shower good. Bed was comfortable. Receptionist on check out cheerful. Central location.

Nothing that I didn’t like, really.. I saw people complaining about the parking and that the spa is not in the same building but to me that is no issue at all and just wanted to make a note that this is not the end of the world :)

The location was exceptional, hotel had an amazing vibe and the photos give a realistic picture of the rooms (they are not too big but perfectly enough for staying for a weekend), staff was very friendly, can easily access it from the highway and have discounted parking. We had a great experience and would definitely go back and recommend it.

The reception was often behind closed doors. The access card to my room ceasedto function and I had to call a german number to reach the receptionist who was on the second floor cleaning a room and had left the phone ringing in her tray. i missed an important call as it took me 25 minutes to get back to my room. Also the gym is not inside of the hotel but you got to get out to a fitness centre nearby that only opens at 7 am.

The premium double room + extra bed for kid was very small. not kids friendly at all. no cot available as it was advertised, no shampoo, no dental kit, no cups no teaspoons or any cutleries, the room phone and fridge not working! so every time we need to ask or order anything you need to go down the lobby. housekeeping was only available in the morning so when my son got sick unfortunately we had to clean / change sheets ourselves and there’s lack of extra available pillows and sheets so we ended up not having any pillows.

The german guy who checked us in was very accommodating and very helpful.

The location is great, just the next door to Kaufhoff. 20 meters from U- station, 5 minutes from the river embankment. The same building is the Rewe market. Although it’s exactly on the touristic street, there is no nose at all. The bonus is amazing italian coffee shop with delicious coffee around the corner.

Fake information in the description. Even though the hotel was not at its full capacity, it had no parking space available for us so we had to find a place far from the hotel and very expensive. The same happened for breakfast. The information about the pool was fake. There was no pool in the hotel but another building. The bathroom was not working properly, the phone either. It was so noisy probably because the rooms were not properly isolated. The floor was dirty, especially under the beds. The rooms were far from being an "extra spacious room" as it was described in the booking. It was a terrible experience. If I could rate it with a zero, I would do it happily.

Perfect location for exploring the city. Easy to get around from this location. Parking was in a great location albeit a bit narrow to maneuver through. Grocery store and shopping all right there. Staff was amazing and very accommodating.

Cons: Parking is in another building. Have to drag luggage down the elevator, around the corner in the street, thru the hotel and up their elevator. The parking garage is extremely small with tight spaces. Beware if you drive a large luxury vehicle. The hotel room is dismal and small with dark paint and curtains. Scheduled and paid for breakfast from 9-11 am. When we showed up at 10 am there was nothing to eat. Had to find a restaurant to purchase food. Amenities are all non-existent and it is not possible that they exist in this narrow building. We booked because of the amenities, then to be told that everything is closed due to COVID; however, this is not clearly scripted. The elevator can only hold 2 ppl and luggage. Period. The hotel room windows are facing walls on both sides. Even the reception area is closed in and dark. This is not a 4-star hotel by any means. Nowhere to iron, no kettle, none of the mini-sized toiletries around. Reviews need to be detailed and accurate. The pictures on the website do not accurately depict the environment.

Pros: Very nice bathroom, free wifi and definitely a convenient location.
