How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location was great, within altstadt and across from the train station. The family room was spacious and well appointed and has nice touches. The staff is friendly and the hotel is breakfast was excellent and top notch! Beautiful property and I would stay here again and again!

Everything was great!
Location! Just minutes from the train station, so very walkable. We were also able to easily take advantage of public transportation to visit a museum that was not walkable. The public square access was great.

Conveniently located near the central railroad station and at the beginning of the beautiful pedestrian walk. Many good restaurants in ithe neighborhood. Beautiful hotel building, Clean rooms. Windows to open. NO USE OF ANY AIR REFRESHNER!!! Friendly staff. Good breakfast. And everything for a good price. Like the last time several years ago.

Superb location, minutes from Central Station, restaurants, sights, and shops. clean room, good air conditioning, good food variety for breakfast. Staff is very attentive, in particular Joshua in front desk and Soraya in breakfast area.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast had lots of options and the wait staff very quick and efficient. The room was designed very well. Great location.

Although the breakfasts were very good, they were always the same-noticeable of course over a six nights stay.
Everything, except the view from our bedroom which faced a stainless steel flume or chimney immediately outside the room.

Although the location was great, there were many homeless people and there was an underlying odor of urine in the vicinity.
Excellent location, right across from the train station and close to activities/tours. Wonderful breakfast with excellent staff.

Just across the street from the Hbf and you're in the fort. Super convenient to everything. Check-in was seamless. The staff at the desk was very welcoming and even gave me a map and drew a route for me and my family to take for the afternoon to explore in the fort. We followed it and it was perfect. Room was spacious, bathroom was clean, and we loved that the shower had plenty of room and the toilet was a separate room. Breakfast was excellent as well. Complimentary chilled, bottled water in the lobby! I would absolutely stay here again if I visit Nürnberg and would highly recommend it to others.

Superb location, right by the city wall. The bedroom was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The view from the window was spectacular.

We didn’t have air conditioning in our room. However, the staff moved us the second night as it was too hot to sleep and that room was perfect

The breakfast was very good. The breakfast room was very tidy and the staff were excellent. Plenty of choices to suit guests. Location of the hotel is brilliant. Very close to trains, trams, buses and sightseeing tours.

Nothing really
Very friendly and helpful staff, especially at the reception. Clean room and comfortable bed. Enough space for clothes etc. Free water at the reception to stay hydrated. Location is really great, directly at the main station and a few minutes footwalk to the city center through pedestrain area

I can’t think of a thing 
The location was perfect, the hotel was beautiful, and had so much character, the staff was amazing and helped us stupid Americans  figure out the train system, etc., and the room was fabulous! So much bigger than we expected!
